Ray Allen Came Up Big In A Big Playoff Game...

Post#1 » by Matt34520 » Thu May 29, 2008 4:31 am

Alot of people say Ray is a choke artist when it really matters. I didn't believe that, I'm mean sure sometimes he chokes. They all do. And until tonight he has been pretty awful. But I had faith in Ray Allen, and I'm not making that up to sound good.(nor am I asking for any credit, I'm just saying) Thank God that Jesus Shuttlesworth showed up tonight...what a game.

Yeah why shouldn't I be...

I made one bad thread after a game. I'm sure many on here have done that. Plus, I admitted I was wrong and stayed true to my bet.

What's the difference? Ray Allen is wearing a bionic shooting sleeve. :)

I read his lips at one point and I think he was telling the refs that he had to wear that thing because hamilton was scratching the **** out of his arms, and he was showing the ref how Hamilton had already scratched up his other arm. If you notice, Hamilton also wears a sleeve since he's always shoving people with it and grappling with other players.

I do wonder if the sleeve has somehow altered his stroke for the better. Since Ray has OCD and he played well, we can almost be sure he'll be wearing it next game.

You've had more than one, you've been doing your best P2 impression over the past few weeks.

really? I didn't mean to. I was just being 100% honest. I didn't think they could win one in Detroit. The funny thing is I'm usuallty the optimist. But just that one time, I was not. I think its kind strange how everyone seems to hate me off that thread...I didn't kill anybody.

OMG, lol. You would have thought I really did something horrible!!! lol

After the Atlanta and Cleveland series it was hard to imagine for me personally, Boston beating Detroit in Detroit. I said it, maybe I should have kept it to myself. But its not like I did anything that bad, just a stupid thread on a message board.

Save face? What the heck, I was just happy Ray Allen had a big game. I'm a Ray Allen fan.

I do thank you TrickyRicky for realizing that I just made a mistake and I'm not the worst person on this planet.

Ray Allen owes it to his team to continue performing well, after so many poor games. I'm glad he did a great job tonight, but it needs to continue.

I hope and pray to god we get rid of the Piss-tons on Friday. The only fair play must be Rasheed Wallace for them. Even tho he complains a lot he plays a fair game. Hamilton is a little bi*ch. Like I said before end his series. Let Big Baby break his face. I cannot stand his little tricks.

I'll give Ray kudos for this game, but he isn't off the hook yet. He can't hide now that he had one good game because it is his play in general that will decide if we win a championship or not, he is the one player that tips the scale for this team one way or another.

Its really weird had Ray's starts pretty foreshadow how he will play the rest of the game. Its ssems he almost never has a game where he shoots 48-50%. its either 35 or 65 %.
