Would you guys trade for Kobe?

I saw this interesting trade proposal over at the ESPN forums:
Lakers Sends:
Kobe Bryant
------------------------
Boston Sends
Ray Allen
Leon Powe
Brian Scalabrine
2009 2nd Rd. Pick
"Good trade for both teams. Boston gets all the scoring they'll ever need. Perfect for the Lakers since they get rid of low-IQ and ballhog Kobe Bryant. Ray Allen is a godsend in the triangle offense and Brian Scalabrine provides more 3pt shooting than the **** perennial fukup known as Luke Walton. Leon Powe is a great young talent and is certainly an upgrade over Ronny Turiaf and can rebound better than Pau Gasoft."
Final Lineups:
Boston: Rajon/Kobe/Pierce/KG/Perkins
Lakers: Fisher/Allen/Odom/Gasol/Bynum

Yeah, I'd take Kobe for the right price---but the right price does not include parting ways with Scalabrine. He's untouchable.

No way would I trade Scalabrine for Kobe. Are you serious?
Veal is the future.

Who concocted that trade? cfan79? No, even cfan79's trade ideas look coherent compared to this one.
THE LAKERS SAY NO 100 TIMES OUT OF 100.

To be honest...
Only if we could flip him for talent in return.
I can't stand the guy, he annoys the crap out of me. All his nice happy go lucky stuff seems so rehearsed. He's as selfish as they come.
Flip him to the Bulls for #1, Ty Thomas, and Ben Gordon
PG- Rajon Rondo/Ben Gordon
SG- Paul Pierce/Ben Gordon
SF- James Posey/Ty Thomas
PF- Kevin Garnett/Michael Beasley
C- Kendrick Perkins/Glenn Davis
But in reality, why would the Laker want our sad package if they could get Chicago's?
alright you got me, I just wanted to write that lineup out

Lakers laugh, hang up the phone, laugh some more.
Rinse and repeat.

I'd rather package Rondo and a second round pick for Chris Paul.
Let me know when you work the salaries out on that.

How about Tony Allen's expiring contract for Kobe Bryant? Think the Lakers would go for that?

I doubt any Boston fans would seriously say no to something like this and it would never happen anyway obviously. While I would do it in a heart beat, I like Ray a lot more as a person and want us to win it with him. Seeing our big 3 and some others on the team win a championship means a lot to me. Winning with Kobe would just feel dirty.

Lol. In all honesty I think it would take: Ray Ray+Paul Pierce+Powe + draft pick + some cash to get us only Kobe.
We are talking about KOBE BRYANT. Love him or hate him he's the best player in the LEAGUE. Jordan version 2.0
