Celts are in a good position

no one is giving us much of a chance tomorrow night. Chris Sheridan at ESPN says we are not a championship team because we couldn't close out games 3 and 5,both of which we won. Jon Barry says Detroit will win.Flip Saunders and the rest of the Piston think they should have won game 5 and maybe game 3 as well and of course they beat us in Boston in game 2. If we believe these people we might as well pack our bags now and go home. But guess what , we're up 3-2 and Detroit HAS to win the next game or else their season is over. So who has the pressure on them? the Pistons who everyone says are the better team or us? Sure this could easily go to game 7 but if it does it's in our building with our fans. Garnett Pierce and Allen know thier time is now. GO CELTS!!

^^I saw that article by Sheridan..he's a hater. Even though I agree we didn't stomp on their throats when we could have last night, we **** won cos we were clutch, and they weren't....that seems pretty "championship" to me...

didnt the lakers just let the spurs back in the game after having a 15 point lead to narrowly escape wiht a victory, where was everyone questioning if they were a championship team
it's basketball, as long as you get the win, noithing else really matter, you learn from your mistakes and try to correct them for next time, but you won and that the goal of playing the game, to win

clutch?? How is blowing a 17 point lead and barely winning clutch? We were lucky at most to win that game the way it went.

guys, people do not like Boston. they dont like the hype and the hype has not helped the way people view us outside of boston.
the lebron team is loved, the lakers have all but won the title already from what I hear. the spurs, no matter how bad they play are always viewd as....but they are the spurs and they can do it. the spurs could be down 3-0 and no one would count them out.
people hate on the celts, so what. personally I think we should be destroying teams with the talent and play we have shown in the past year. its the first year, so that makes it tough to be consistent.
I hope the celts win to shut everyone up. I would think they would win the next game but I am smarter than that and think of the ref factor. but they wont beat us in Boston.
if ray is truly back which it looks to be, they are done in game 6. ray allen is key to this team coasting. without him we have to work harder.
bring it Ray!!!!!

Jon Barry has picked the Celtics to lose almost every single game this series.

Jon Barry is still bitter about losing to Boston in 2002. I've always hated that egg head. Him and Michael Curry...

To answer the OP, the pressure is on us. And if we don't go into game 6 thinking this way, we will lose the game like we did in game 4.
We need to come out aggressive and play with urgency. We have to play like we are facing eliminating. That is how we came out in game 3 and we got the win. In game 4, we played too relaxed and too comfortable and got beat.

celts really need to close this thing out in game 6. the pistons have won game 7s on the road before and we already know they are confident they can win in boston. game 7s are just too unpredictable anyway.
game 6 is the best chance IMO, especially with hamilton hurting. the pistons may come out just expecting their crowd to fuel them to a win and come out relaxed like they did in game 3.
GET IT DONE IN 6!!! plus it would be nice to beat a like the pistons in 6, on the road, when before the series no one thought we had a chance in hell because a) it took 7 games each to beat ATL and CLE, and b) the celtics can't win on the road.

Not relinquishing the lead, hitting free throws and big shots (Ray Allen), defensive stops...still clutch, regardless how big the blown lead was.
