Will we close the series tommorow?

Post#1 » by Tricky Ricky » Thu May 29, 2008 11:01 pm

I believe we wll defeat Detroit in Detroit tommorow night, I think KG and Pierce realize they can finally get to the finals with a win tommorow and will carry the team to a victory, plus it looks like Ray regained his confidence last night.

Anyone else thinks its over in 6 or back to Boston for our third game 7?

If Rip isn't playing, they have no chance.

Detroit has been there and done that. But that is actually the first ever chance in the careers of KG, PP and Ray to advance to the Finals. I hope they come out with the needed energy, but the bench also needs to play well. Because we saw what happened in Game 2. I even like our chances with Hamilton playing.

No I'm a bit warding off ill-luck... I don't like to see topic like this before such an important game... Anyway, I'll just keep my finger crossed and hope the guys make the miracle... :)

That's why you always vote "no" in the poll. Counter the bad luck.

I've predicted wins for game 6 of the other series we've played so far too with no luck, but if we win tomorrow that means we're going to the finals. That has to be some big motivation for these guys who have never tasted that. Plus I think from watching this series as well as the regular season that we are just plain better than them. We will get it done.

I voted yes because I am a Celtics fan. But based on the balance of play throughout these playoffs I am not suprised with any loss or any win this team has. So I really have no idea.

a limmited Rip means a limmited Detroit offense. he creates for everyone, including himself.

if Ray scores 15+, our chances of winning against anyone in the league are substantial.

I would be pretty disappointed in our team if they do not come out with intensity in game 6. The Finals is just one win away, and if our team - especially our big three - don't find that as enough motivation, then I don't like our chances in the Finals even if we win game 7 on Sunday.

It's all about heart now. Time to show what the Celtics are all about.

Yes, without doubt. Bye bye, Rip.

Pierce, KG and Allen for 30 a piece.

hey with the next tech sheed is gonna suspended for a gm right? does it include the playoffs (if they live another day), or will it be delayed until start of next season? dangit, i was hoping that scal, big baby, or cassell woulda baited sheed into another tech last game, even at the cost of one of them getting tossed out for the last gm lol

I hate putting ifs in any situation but for the Celtics sake, for them to win against the Pistons, the big three needs to be playing in all cylinders. Thats a big IF considering that game 5 was the only time in this post season that they have done that.

I doubt it. We have seen in these playoffs that if we don`t need to win we don˙t win...I hope we do but realistically we will come out flat again and Rondo will be his passive old self on the road...
