Celtics getting screwed by the refs tonight

Post#1 » by Bill Bradley » Sat May 31, 2008 2:33 am

This is ridiculous. They took KG out of the game, Rondo taking charges that aren't getting called, that technical on Perkins that shouldn't have been called, that BS call on Pierce on his three, and Pistons being rewarded for flopping. You guys must be pissed.

Salavatore deserves a few months in the D-League (refs need EARN their positions too).

This is rediculous!

refs

Post#7 » by sox839 » Sat May 31, 2008 3:14 am

This game is being refereed well compared to the game 7 versus cleveland that was by far the worst refereed game right along ith 2004 west finals lakers minnesota when they called that foul on szerbiak when he jumped away from kobe bryant with his hands upand the refs still called a foul. lebron grabbing Pauls jersey was the worst call grabbing his shorts and then practically ripping Pauls jersey off not allowing him to get the ball. No this game is good compared to cleveland game 7. One more stop and a couple free throws and it looks good. GO CELTICS.

I'm glad it didn't matter. I was livid after that Pierce 3.

Where in my original statement did I say you were a Boston fan, dumbass. In case you haven't noticed, this is a thread, not a single post.

I think you missed the point. You are over here trying to insult our board because of this thread. When a non celtics fan started it. Making you a dumbass.

That's funny. I didn't know only the first post and the original poster's posts count in a THREAD. I seem to count others boston fans in here once again complaining about the refs... or are there no boston fans in here at all? In that case, my mistake...

I greatly doubt it was deliberate bias, given the call on the buzzer-beater at the half. But the calls and non-calls seemed much more generous to the Pistons overall than to the Cs.

It obviously was a travel (Bennet called it wrong), its just surprising that they called it when Pierce always gets those calls, it also sucked because it was a potential four point play and at that junction points were needed. They're were many other phantom calls that sucked even more, mostly 3pt plays for Billups (like 3 of them).
