....of Celtics Haters.

Even my friends thinks that Celtics have no chance on winning. I even made a bet with them totalling AUD$90.

None of Espn Analyst chose Celtics to win.

I still believe that Celtics will win their 17th championship.

It is pretty ridiculous how heavily favored the Lakers are by ESPN "analysts". The consensus among fans is nowhere near that big. Probably because the average basketball enthusiast watches a ton more ball than these ESPN analysts.

As a Laker fan, I expect a very hard-fought series that goes the distance or near it.

its b/c we struggled w/ATL and LA won out quickly

i see the series as another cleveland w/o the rebounding
noone besides Kobe scares me at all and we have lots of defenders for him
odom is a weinie
KG and Perk will take gasol out

LA will get killed on the glass---and their "great bench" is so overrated
vujacic and turiaf are decent, farmar and luke suk; esp farmar

we have posey, house, cassell, PJ, baby, powe, TA?
this series lasts 6 at most with us hanging up #17

We should embrace our role as the underdog. We play SO much better when others diss us.

I think you like a lot of people are underestimating the Lakers. Kobe is better then Lebron when you add in the experience. Odom is not a wienie, and will impress you I'm sure. Also, Luke Walton doesn't suck at all, hes very solid off the bench. This should be a tough and exciting series, the Celtics will win though.

Well the Lakers are a better team than people are on this board than people want to admit, Kobe is prob the best player right now, Odom has been playing well and Gasol can rebound. However I felt worse about having to play DET than LA. THe first two games are huge for us, if we can win the first two we have a great shot at winning.

I love how those little Celtic Haters (aka mentally challenged animals using a keyboard) talk about how it took 7 games to beat Atlanter and Cleveland and always forget to mention we beat the Pisstons in 6 WHEN THEY WERE THE ONES SAYING Detroit would beat us in 5 or 6.

Why do animals like Celtic Haters get to use the Internet?

The Lakers swept a horrible Denver team(worst 50 win team of all time)...almost got taken to game 7 by Utah(couldn't hit three wide open 3 pointers at the end of game 6)...and beat a worn out San Antonio team in 5 games(SA had to play Phoenix + New Orleans--that's why they blew big leads to the Lakers)....PLUS, None of those teams had more than 1 Big man...Camby/AK47/Duncan....The Lakers were too Big for the rest of the West....I think we match up well.

To me I think talentwise, we are better. They have the coaching advantage. The x-factor is our hunger for the ring. I think Kobe is an exceptional talent but I don't think he has the hunger that Pierce and Garnett has for their 1st ring. I think that Kobe knows that he has already proven his critics wrong just by getting to the finals and that the motivation factor just isn't the same as iit was before the playoffs.

kobe shot like 15-40 on our D this season
we will contain him and the 2 headed weiner of odom/gasol will wilt
odom is soft and is scared----in championship terms he is a weinie
gasol is not as big a weinie as princess odom, but he cant pick up the slack w/ KG around

luke walton is the most overrated player in basketball
he is as good as scal
both servicable, but take walton out of the triangle and he falls off in other systems

The Celtics will contain Kobe Bryant. Keep repeating that mantra.
