so i got to thinking about the Diesel and i'm wondering whose rafters gets his number when he retires. cuz lets face it, the most dominant big man in recent history needs to settle down somewhere, lol

Orlando - probable, that's where he got his start
LA - doubtful, he hates everyone in that organization
Miami - questionable, his rocky relationship with riles doesnt bode well
Phoenix - probable, i could see it happening if they win it all next year

although it's not my usual style since i like shaq i'll go the optomistic route and guess phoenix...

That's a good question, probably LA or Orlando where he played the most years. It's weird how such a good play has played on so many teams

Not sure about Orlando. He killed them when they got nothing in return for him.

Lakers I would assume they would as he led them to three straight titles.

Miami probably as well, strictly on the back of a championship.

Phoenix no chance unless he does something incredible their, but I think he has too few years left to do it.

Orlando- he didn't really accomplish many of his career milestones there
LA- do you all remember the time when the league concensus was that nobody would ever win a championship until shaq or duncan retired? dominant. you sh*t your pants when shaq caught the ball anywhere inside 15 feet.
Miami + Pheonix - rent a player.

Orlando - Has anyone wore his number since? I think they might retire his number there because he was their first trus super star and Shaq put the Magic on the NBA map.

LA - He carried the Lakers to 3 titles. They'll retire his number there.

Miami - He did carry them to their first title, so while he was only there for a few years, they might anyways.

Phoenix - Unless he plays for 5 years and carry them to a title, I doubt his number is retired there.
