Seriously, stop creating threads here, or are Boston fans doing it on your board first? What's the deal here? Why can't you just stay there? I've barely been to the Faker board so I wouldn't know if Celtic fans are doing this first. You all seem to be between the ages of 13-21 and are highly annoying.

I don't mind it if there is a topic on the lakers, and they come in and add their info. But it is so stupid when you are reading a thread about a celtics player, like if we should play cassell, or tony allens injury, and a lakers fan swoops in and acts like they know everything about him. Or even worse say they suck.

I'm not going to talk trash and say we'll stomp the Lakers. I fear LA the most out of everybody we've faced. This is not going to be an easy series by any means. I can't stand the Lakers but can't discount what they've done and who they are. With that said

First off I wasn't saying anything to "contort" any argument. I was just responding to the original post starters post. I take it as he was saying it's good to have a rival to talk good natured trash to I guess. Weather the guy was a Laker fan or Celtic fan was irrelevant to me.

And when I said,"all we can do is talk the facts" I meant talk about what you know weather it's about your team or the other team.

You have the board as a whole when responding to something like this Deep.

There are some very logical, common sense fans here that you can debate with because they know basketball and know they have a very good team in the celtics.

I started this thread, and I have been a Celtic fan since 1979. I actually bought a 11 game mini season tickets to the Golden State Warriors just so I could see one Celtics game in 1987-88. My purpose was to note that sometimes its good to have teams that you can hate in a healthy and sometimes respectful way. Trash talk can be fun if its done with class and style. Punkish trash talk is just boring and uninstructive. For example Larry Bird was a trash talker, but he didnt just start shouting cuss words at people.

My pint being, Laker fans aren't capable of talking about the facts. They are to emotional for this. Just read through the threads on this board.

That may be the case for some Bruno, but maybe I'm wrong but it came off that you were luumping "all" Laker fans together.

How do you know if I can't talk the facts ? To me it all depends on how mature you are in speaking on a intellegent level. Like Vince said it's good if it's respectful and good natured which I strongly agreed with.

My take is that after Thursday most of the "real" b-ball guys here will have something relevant to say regarding the rest of the series.
