"Pierce, Bryant argued about who'd be traded"

Paul Pierce and Kobe Bryant were playing pickup basketball in a UCLA gym last summer, a couple of frustrated NBA stars trying to sweat away the memory of a disappointing season.
Talk soon turned to trades.
Bryant had lashed out at Lakers management for assembling a team that hadn't won a playoff series in three years. The Celtics had gone four years, and Pierce worried he might become the trade bait that kick-starts the rebuilding process.

Yep... unlike Kobe Bryant, who's the most selfish player in the league.

hey, he hasn't had a tantrum for half a season now. In Kobe time that equals about a decade!

Pierce is such a class act in public compared to Kobe "John Milton" Bryant.

Yes, Boston fans already know that Pierce can be an affable person. The same can't be said of Bryant. Correction, it's good for players such as Pierce, Garnett, Ray Allen and Brown to be in the NBA finals. And not you! It just sicken me when Bryant tries to come off as a nice guy when Shaquille and the nation really knows he's a douche bag or is it a rapist?
"Both of us kind of being in the same boat -- the irony that we're both in the Finals is cool," Bryant said after the Lakers practiced at their workout facility in El Segundo, Calif., on Monday. "It's good for both of us to be here. He's a great guy."

In the article Pierce says he would have been a Clipper. Would he have been happy? He would have been in the same situation as he was last year with the Celtics. A terrible team. Thank God he stayed

Yes, in a way, Kobe is pretty selfish... but that just shows how much he wants to win... all he wanted was to win and i don't see how it's was so bad that he complained... he had Kwame and Smush as his starters for how many years? So i feel him on that. And for that, I am glad that we got Kobe to complain for us, because the fans won't be heard. And as a result of complaining, it lead to the young ones to step up and become more focused because they saw how serious he was... But i think if Kobe was in the celtics the past 3-4 years, they would've made the playoffs in the east even w/ a bad surrounding cast.

He would not have been in a terrible team... Clippers have been suffering injuries as of late... but if you can imagine everyone healthy...

One or two of those guys would have been on our team if we traded him to the Clippers. We are no the Grizzlies and trade our best player for CRAP!
