Since I love me some predictions and I don't see a thread about it...

I ruled sweeps out since we all know they won't happen.

I say Celts in an epic 7-game series. My instinct says Celts in 6 (cue visiting Lakers fans thinking the world is upside down) but I have a feeling the Kobe-PJax duo may make that feat too difficult to accomplish. If we had Larry Brown instead of Doc that would have been my prediction. The reasons have been stated ad nauseum in other threads but the bottom line is defense and post presence have a history of winning championships and we have the edge in both departments.

It's Paul Pierce time. Let the games begin.

Celts take the first 2, then LA comes back with two at home but we just take games 5 and 6

Me too. I'm just enjoying everyone from the national media picking the Lakers.
