Im sure we won't change our offense at this stage in the game, but heres some food for thought....
Kobe will choose to defend Ray so he wont get into early foul trouble on Pierce. The easiest way to get him a little ot of synch is to have Ray run off picks a la Rip Hamilton. Picture Kobe banging into Perk, trying to run around KG, etc. for a good 15-20 minutes to try to deny Ray the ball.
I'm not saying he isn't capable of it, he's the best player in the world right now. Just thought it was another way to perhaps distract him from potential offensive dominance.

that's not necessarily true. i think he's got his confidence back... and more importantly his teammates' confidence. for us to win this series, ray needs to score a solid 15ppg, and i think he will. for him its just a matter of touches. he seems to drift off and dissapear when he doesnt feel like he's involved.
