Last night on Sports Tonight Sean Grande picked Boston in 5.

I comfortabel with Lelger picking Boston. Out of all the ESPN guys, he's the one I pay attention to the most. Yes, even before he pick OUR Boston Celtics to win.

I just hope Stephen A Smith picks LA! What a basketball dummy... "What IISS DAAnnY AAInge doing??!!"

And I am also surprised that the master of doom and gloom Felger is optimistic going into this series!! I don't put much stock in it, just surprised.

SAS picked boston to win it all in the preseason. So far his prediction is on the track to be right, who changes when their team is still in it??

I think our guys (C's) already know about the majority of the world being against them. Pierce made a statement about being considered the underdogs while being interviewed by Comcast Sports Net and said that they like being considered as such. I expect our guys to come out guns a blazing due to this reason.

(Kinda OT) There is so much time between games that the argument of the C's being tired because they played more playoff games is seriously funny.

Ah.

Well its expected since the Lakers are pretty much the Safe pick it seems.

Yeah they definitely seem like the safe pick since they have the MVP, and defeated the defending champs. What kinda irks me is that if Detroit would have made it, the media would most likely be picking them due to their playoff experience and "superior" defense, but since we went 7 against a young, extremely athletic, up and coming ATL team and the team that has the future winner of multiple MVP's and plays good defense, we considered heavy underdogs. What can we do but wait until the C's beat the Laker's in 6 to see all the hypocrisy!

I believe these teams are so evenly match, that the series can seriously go either way (hopefully in the C's favor). It's going to be a great series hopefully horrible refs won't spoil it for either side.

Probably because SAS never has a clue what comes out of his mouth. He's the new Don King, a loudmouth who likes to think he is entertaining and enlightening. Only reason I watch him and Bayless is for entertainment value. Those two have about as much real basketball knowledge combined as Chris Wallace.
