Is anyone else mad at Perkins

I like him but he just doesn't seem to be a very intelligent player.
He was least 10' from Bryant when Bryant took that shot, he jumped after the ball was already coming down. Pierce was right there with his back turned when Perkins clumisly fell into Pierce damaging his knee. In that position he should have been ready to rebound, his only option.

Perkins doesn't how to take a standard hook, he could really use one for a guy that can't jump very high. Lots of times he's near the basket but doesn't know how to make an efficient move.

I can give you 60% coach Rivers. Where the hell did he come up with that figure.

Just needed to vent, but very happy C's won.

Smarten up up Perk!!

Don't be too surprised if Ainge trades him in the offseason.

Why would Danny trade him? He fits perfectly next to Garnett, he's a bargain for his production and this is his first post season with actual playing time...you wouldn't have said that after his monster game vs Detroit

Well, Big Baby had a good game again Detroit. Perk can do that to old men.

KG needs a banger besides him. Perk will be one of the best true physical defensive centers (if he stays healthy).

Have you noticed that his "monster" games are filled with a steady diet of bunnies; because of good passes from pierce, KG etc. Only then he really pounds the boards and is very active.

Listen I like him, he just needs to mature a lot.

Please don't use the term or any variations of the term "bunnies". Very annoying.

At age 23, Perkins is at least an adequate starting center. He's not going anywhere.

I am not saying that Perk is a bad player. We will see many good offers.

Anyone mad at Perk for accidentally landing on Paul is an idiot in my book. Complete accident, nothing more to it. It's Perk's job to guard the paint, at the speed Kobe was coming in Perk was already moving to protect the rim when kobe pulled up for that little jumper. It sucks, but I can guarantee you no one out there felt worse about it than Perk.

Perk is a bit clumsy -- as professional basketball players go, of course. This leads him to being slow to go up for shots :sigh: , to getting injured, and to causing injuries.

If he had all his other virtues and were also highly agile, he'd be an All-Star or better.

It was an accident. Why would I be mad at him?

He drives me insane anytime he gets the ball down low and is wide open. You could make a friggin sandwich in the time it takes him to gather himself up, get a good grip on the ball, elevate the 2 inches he needs to dunk and then goes up. He almost always gets fouled and then proceeds to miss the first free throw.

Then why the hell would we trade him? Because we have a developing 38 year old PJ Brown waiting in the wings?

I am extremely mad that he accidentally hurt Pierce (being sarcastic), how are we complaining about a guy that took one shot which was blocked from behind by Gasol after he almost had it stolen by Farmar on the pass. If you are complaining about the FT's let me remind you that he went to the line once! Do we hate Pierce for missing 2? Do we hate Rondo for missing 3? You are crazy if you really think we should trade him. On the defensive end every time Pau got dunks it was because the help was late or non existent and you can't blame Perk for that! The foul issue is another thing that he can't control being that he plays the same way every game but depending on the refs he will either be great on defense or on the bench in foul trouble. The 2 fouls on Gasol were very cheap ones on the refs part (just touching him) and the one were he got hurt wasn't he didn't do anything that could be called a foul, but the refs saw Fisher on the floor and automatically looked to call the foul on Perk! I also saw many moving screens by Gasol and no calls were made but if Perk were doing them we know he would have been called for them, so I don't blame the guy for anything!

Perk is not the best player on the court (thats why he doesn't get 10+ mil a year). Are we going to blame him for only scoring one point when he only had one attempt, Are we going to blame him for getting **** calls? Are we going to blame him for accidentally hurting Paul? I hate hippocrasy, when he plays well he is a great bargain but when he plays bad we need to ship him out of town! The kid is 23 years old and has shown potential, that would be a Pitino like move.

Bulletin: Perk's a center, not a friggin' ballet dancer! Get off the guy's back, I'm sure he feels bad--along with being hurt himself--and he was just in there doing his job the best he knows how. We're lucky to have him. Jeesh.

What are you guys nuts? I'll have to watch the replay again, but venting your anger on Kendrick Perkins seems stupid to me ... It's a physical game, and Perk was just being physical. Pierce just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. If Perk wasn't being physical, you all would be b*$ and moaning about how useless he is and how he needs to be more physical. Honestly, some of you guys need some serious perspective, and need to acknowledge that not every little thing can be calculated in a game. It's real life, not a script. Stuff happens. Quit trying to scapegoat somebody and deal with it.

it's stupid to blame perk. you guys have to realize that accidents happen, plus he's hurt also.
