It could be into the 90's tomorrow. Is there still ice under the hardwood? After hockey ends do they drain the rink under the floor of the Garden? Because if they don't, isn't there a chance of condensation?
I believe it happened in this building a few years ago. Can you imagine the scheduling chaos if they had to postpone one of these Finals games?
Remember the preseason game in Worcester?
Ice. Heat. Floor.

Oh, the 36-33 "win" by the Celtics? I really wanted to see that second half too, they should definitely drain the rink to prevent this.

I doubt there would be ice under the hardwood since the Bruins haven't played in a while.

It would be cool if you got the hell off this board, if what happened to Pierce happened to you, you would probably be crying like a baby and in a wheel chair still

There is definitely NO ice under the court. It would be to expensive to keep the temperature under the subfloor cold enough to maintain the ice.
Not practical to do it.
Just like the ACC doesnt keep the ice after the leafs crap out.
What tha' There's a hair on the court,
O, Thats gotta go,
Messing up with my dribbling, injure myself
Excuusssseee Me!
Ball, Game on Son!

Thank you! I should have asked on the Toronto board. Some of the Raptor fans are fairly new to hoops, but those guys know everything there is to know about ice.

our lack of hoop knowledge is over rated... its just we have alot of pipe dreams (see Trade Board) because we have never had a winning organization.
I was making a thread on your board and popped in to see this one.

Well, no one knows less about basketball than I know about hockey. They have three quarters and two halftimes. The blue line does something, but I don't know what. And I feel like I'm swearing if I say the word, "puck."
