Looks like we're gonna take it to the House in game 3.

Sadly, my first reaction was that this is good news. :(

Luck of the Irish :)
Sam played like crap tonight. I think he's served his function now that we are by Detroit.

YES!

First time I've been excited about an injury since the dark days of 06/07

Green if he goes along on road games. Does he? I don't recall, and I'm guessing no.

Sam I am was a +11 in 6 mins and he played like crap?

This isn't good news. Rondo has been completely ineffective on the road at times and House is going to be exposed against Fisher and Farmar. I think Rondo is ready to step it up and have a couple of great road games but now he has to. I suppose PP can add to the legend by playing some PG.

I remember seeing this conversation elsewhere before, and I believe he might. Not 100% though. Maybe just to Sac-town cuz thats where bibby plays.

He got blocked by Farmar, got the ball back, and did nothing.
He did manage to have a good game 1 in the few minutes he played.
I'm not happy about the injury, but I do want to see what Eddie does.
We should be more spread out at the perimeter.

Not like we need the whole perimeter attack.
We need to post more.

I never wish injury on a Celtic player, but I make an exception for Sam.

Despite that +/-, he played mediocrely, even if he did actually pass the ball a couple of times, as the announcers mockingly kept count.

He still managed to hoist 1/2 the shots Rondo did while getting 1/16 the assists, in about 1/7 the time.

ummmm...he's faking it....so he can get the Staples crowd into it when he makes a dramatic comeback.

Also funny in Q2 last night when Van Gundy audibly counted two passes from Sammie in one possession. Of course the previous possession, Cassell was blocked on a rediculous prayer.

Suppose TA would be exposed if he ran the point again????

This thread title cheered me up the instant I saw it. I had had enough of Sam's **** by the time we reached the Cleveland series. By Detroit, I was ready to hire someone to break his knees. Now, I am just numb. After seeing him get blocked on that 20-ft triple-team fallaway last night and then throw up an absolute BRICK on a WIDE OPEN THREE, that barely hit the side/back of the rim, there is no way he can play the rest of the series. None. Take it to the House, and let Sam rot at the end of the bench.

tombattor, I know you're with me on this...

The one good thing he did was pass up an open three on a scramble situation to kick the ball over to Pierce on the left wing for a three. I thought for sure Sam was jacking that one up.

I crapped myself on that play (metaphorically speaking) because I couldn't believe he actually passed it. His one good play of the night, whoopeee...
