Note to Doc: Play small ball when you are down, not up

We were up 16, with 5:56 left in the game. Doc took the hot man out in Powe and went small ball. I'm sorry, you play small ball when you are trailing, not when you have a big lead.
We played the last 6 minutes of the game trying to adjust to what the Lakers were doing, instead of going with what got us the lead.
Doc went small ball with 4 perimeter players in KG, Pierce, Ray, and Posey along with Rondio who isn't much of a scorer. The outcome was we had no offensive flow, got killed on the boards and almost lost the game.
Had it not been for Pierce driving to the basket and getting to the line down of the stretch, we would have lost the game and blown and 23 point 4th quarter lead. Didn't we almost do the same thing vs Detroit and almost losing a 17 point 4th quarter lead? When is Doc going to learn?
I'm glad we are up 2-0 and that Pierce and Perkins seem to be healthy. But we need to make some adjustments in closing out games.
