Then again, can't say I'm surprised they would sink that low.
Just classless. C'mon, "Beat LA" vs "Boston Sucks"?
Let's shut em up in game 4!

Boston Sucks is less classy than Beat LA? You're comparing bronze to copper at this point.

dude, what did you expect, lakers are down 0-2, the fans are emotional, you're down at LA. what did you expect, the fans to blow your team a kiss and welcome you with open arms? come on, you're making something out of nothing

Win two more games, and we won't have to worry about this BS.

its sounds soooo weak to me, like a little kid trying to make a comeback that has no power behind it

Almost as classy as the standard Garden commentary on dubious foul calls, eh?

well heyyy it's lakers/celts rivalry all over again.
don't be so sensitive.
I wouldn't be surprised if i heard "DRAMA QUEEN" chants when pierce is at the line. Enjoy the hate. It happens to EVERY TEAM/EVERY SPORT

All fans, in all arenas, in all sports have some variation of a "classless" chant. Boo-friggety-hoo.

Same thing as Yankees Suck which is chanted everywhere in New England and has been for years.

Regrettably, yes they did.
The chant is fine, doesn't bother me a bit. The only funny thing is that it's Lamar Odom, of all people, who put out a "Boston Sucks" t-shirt. Um, take a look at your own game, pal, then get back to us on that one....

No kidding. Would be like Craig Hansen spearheading the Yankees chant at Fenway.
I think we can all agree Sam Cassell sucks, though.

Did anyone notice the weak intro montage that actually looked like more of a Celtics tribute? And then the weak boos when we were introduced and the weak cheers when the Lakers were. It sounded like no one cared. And the crowd was a joke until it was tied with a few minutes left in the game, then it got louder (a little). Guess the "hardcore Laker fans" didn't show up until the 4th started last night instead of halftime...

Never underestimate the power of the Jumbotron. Or Jack Nicholson's big fat head.

How about the "No means no" chants for you know who in Game 1. That's classy?
Neither Beat LA, nor Boston sucks are the peak of imagination and creativity. A couple syllable chants to get the team going and to distract the opponent. Nothing wrong with that.
cheers
