Pierces injury worries me a lot!

Post#1 » by klemen4 » Wed Jun 11, 2008 9:57 am

We lost yesterday clearly because of bad coaching and Paul injury.

We had "luck" when Rondo sprained ankle because with House we played the way we have to play all the time. He and Allen took care of the ball and the most important thing, they gave the ball to KG in the post very quickly, than House went to three point line, also Ray and they waited for KG to shoot from inside or passed it to them. With Rondo in, he has the ball 15 second and then we improvize, with KG getting the ball on three point line :banghead:

With House we got a 5 point lead and played witz passion and game plan as Allen and KG being the center of offense. But Doc just could not ressit to play last 8 minutes with starting five, putting in Rondo who killed our offense and injured Pierce, who lost or made 3 bad decisions in a row. Man you could see he cant walk, ok it is Pierce but...

Now I ask myself how bad his injury really is, his movement and game in affected huge, he looks like 40 years old, also his attitude was like he is tottaly of, ill or something...

That is vhy Im really worried if he can heal.

Im a big optimist and also realist. Iknow we have better team, but without Pierce they have the edge. So for me yesterday was the game which decided the finals, this was the game we should have won in LA. So if Pierce is off in LA we cant win the next two games. Than being down 2-3 it will be hard to win both at home. Ok, we still lead this finals, but we need healthy Paul.

We lost because, we Lost. Hell.

Paul Pierce being terrible last night has nothing to do with his injury in my opinion.

idk, Pierce got I think 3 open threes after pump fakes and didn't seem to be as agressive as usual.

I'd like to know when the Celts flew out to LA. Maybe the pressure diffrence swelled his knee up.

It's a shame, Ray Allen rarely has a great game because all he does is shoot. But last night he had one and we wasted it. If Garnett had a way of attacking the rim or getting high percentage shots OR if Pierce plays like he normally does we'd have a 3-0 lead because of Ray's great shooting. What a wasted opportunity.
