No that didn't happen during Game 3 that happen during Game 2. When the Lakers are away during the playoffs , Staples Center shows the away games on the jumbo score board.
Fans can pay as little as 15 bucks to watch. I guess some Celtic fan bought a ticket but the mistake he made was wearing a Celtic jersey.
And that crowd consist of "Raider Nation" we all know they have thug fans. Only thing is they live in L.A. but don Laker jerseys during the season.

Don't care who is beating up who. A whole group of people beating on one person is never cool.

All cities are garbage like this, with lowlife people who start fights and kill each other over nothing. ALL cities (yes I include the actual city of Boston, with PUTRID places like Dorchester, "Murderpan", Roxbury.. they are all garbage full of criminals). I just wish this country was all suburbs with nice houses, environments and people. Get those hoodlums off the streets.
This video makes me sick and angry.

That's cold, man.
Why is it so hard for people to get along?
I love the C's as much as any hardcore fan don't get me wrong but after all it is only a sport.

So true daveisceltics, I know some here would probably view me with the "troll" tag and all but I've never come here and posted anything negative or inflammatory I've just tried to join the conversation and add an opinion.
It's sad that sports to a sense can bring violence in some cases.

Especially in soccer when goalies get flare guns shot at them.

People get drunk and get into fights at sporting events.
The Earth is round.
Don't eat yellow snow.

your one of the handful of laker fans that are enjoyed here. its always good to hear the other side when they dont get too crazy with their bias. and this jumping is foolish, but it happens all the time. its just the finals so every little thing is a big deal right now. aint nothing wrong with berating him and saying some crazy stuff, but to actually attack somebody is nuts

Thanks for the clear up. Didn't know they did that for away games.
And Laker fans wonder why they are not liked as much.... I wonder.... I am sure there is one good fan for every 10,000 of LA's populous....

Who says the boston fan didn't start this?He obviously wasn't helping the situation going to the staples centre in a celtics jersey... I wonder what he was thinking... "Watch the game on a big screen from far".. or "Get some laughs"... you can't judge the reasoning for the fight with this video..

and here is your official warning:
Coming onto the Celtics board to post that kind of inflammatory nonsense is terms of service violation. Try posting on the laker board for a while, that was an unwise 7th post and will get you suspended for trolling if you do it again.

Yeah I don't like it, Laker fan or Celtic fan, doesn't matter, it's garbage. It really surprises me it happens in the finals where people are paying huge money. Usually the plaoff $ keeps the idiots out.
Same thing happened to a Spurs fan at Staples the last series. I was embarrased as a Laker fan. I can almost guarantee these are not longtime Laker fans, these are longtime Raider fans looking for a winning team in LA.
These are the same fans that are in the beer and food line half the game.

Nothing wrong with going to a Laker game in a Celtics jersey. I'm sure if he was sitting there quietly enjoying the game, there probably won't be a problem. If you go to a Laker game, expect to get jeered with "Celtics suck"
Of course, there's always just guys who pick fights, Laker and Celtic fans alike, that's more about personality than the team they root for.

It wasn't a Lakers GAME. It was an event meant for Lakers fans. This guy obviously went there with the INTENTION of baiting Lakers fans and starting trouble. From accounts of people who attended, this Celtics fan started the incident. Lakers fans just finished it.
It's like a Lakers fan wearing a Kobe jersey going to a Boston pub and obnoxiously cheering for the Lakers. Do you honestly think that no Celtics fan is going to start something w/ him?
