Let's not forget to appreciate ownership (and Danny Ainge)

The Celtics were able to win last night because Doc went small. Doc was able to go small because of the acquisition of House and Posey, who between them took up the full MLE. Posey was only on the market because Miami was NOT willing to pay the luxury tax, even after winning a recent championship.

In addition to the successful acquisitions of Posey and House, Ainge made the "Oops, that didn't quite work" acquisition of Pollard. No problemo; ownership let him acquire Brown as a replacement, and he's worked out very nicely indeed.

Without permission to dive into the luxury tax and then keep going deeper, Ainge couldn't have come close to putting this team together.

Pollard was the best choice out there wasn't he. It is not his fault that he got injured, and really didn't help us. Then again, he did lighten the mood many times, so, he was not that bad.

Posey, man when ainge got him, I was really excited. I knew we had our sixth man. And I really felt we could go far in the playoffs.

House was a surprise, I did not expect to be rooting for house over Cassell. Then again, I didn't think Brown would be one of my favorite players.

Definitely in agreement though, let's give it up for Ainge and the ownership!!!
