How do you feel about the 2-3-2 right now?

I thought all along that it favors who ever "wins" the first two, ie, the favorite if they hold serve, the underdog if they steal one. So it should be favoring us, and in a sense it has, since we stole one on the road - even though game 4 would have been on the road either way

In theory, the difference is that, it should be easier to win a game 5 on the road than it is to win a game 6 on the road - but that may rest on assumption that the home team wins game 4.

The upshot right now is, that game 5 is a low pressure game and we get two consecutive shots at home; with 2-2-1-1-1 game 5 is more pivotal since it is the last "chance to clinch at home without the threat of elimination with a loss."

But it would be so nice to win game 5...it would be nice if it were in Boston. How about switching it up to 2-2-3?!! Only for teams that win 66+ games, they should get extra home court advantage!

Right now, I would love to have this game at home to put the final nail in now before the Lakers have a chance to get off the mat. Hopefully, the C's can do it on the road and not mess around, but if not, I'll be nervous during Game 6. That one gets away, and facing a Game 7 with a two-game losing streak would get hairy.

But, as a great prophet once said, it is what it is. Everyone knows the format ahead of time. Just gotta win one somewhere.

I liked it at the beginning of the series, because I think it's very hard for the home team to win three straight.

I further like it now because it's hard for the road team to win two straight.

I still do not like it.

To me it looks good now only because of the great comeback last night. Had the Lakers hung on it would be 2-2 and still in LA.

To me it represents a home dis-advantage through 5 games that is not made up until game 7...and there have only been 3 of those since 1985

Lebron could rest and lose more regulars before he is 100% for the playoffs. We must keep the 2-3-2 format away from him.

I've always hated it, always will. The team being rewarded for having the best overall record should never be in the spot of having less games at home at any point of the series - period.
