What was Doc talking about in his press conference?

I didn't catch it in his PC. But I heard tanguay mention something. Hopefully all is well with him. man has he gone through some tough family/personal issues this past season. I wish him well.

I plead ignorance...but is diabetes all that serious? I thought it was fairly easily controlled with medicine and diet?

I'm a diabetic. It can be controlled but its scary, especially for her. Given her age and genetics she likely has type 1 diabetes. She will have to inject herself with insulin multiple times a day for the rest of her life. There are a lot of options and they have the money to cater a diet but she must be scared as heck right now. Wish Ray and his family the best.
