I'm hoping for Bavetta since he loves the home team so much.

Won't happen since he already did games 1 and 5. We're probably looking at the game 2 crew, or members of, for tonight.

Holy ****, probably the THREE WORST REFS IN THE ENTIRE **** LEAGUE (except for Kenny Mauer and Violet Palmer)

Great...

This will take a superhuman effort by the C's to overcome...but they'll do it!!

Lakers with Eddie F Rush in postseason: 0-4
Without Rush: 14-2
Rush was also one of the refs in FInals Game 2.
Looks like Stern wants the Finals to end tonight at all costs.

Those are just facts! You don't understand that in spite of that, the Celtics will be screwed. And the Lakers will win, no matter what. If the Celtics are on the verge of winning tonight, they might just cancel the game before the clock strikes 0:00 and force them to play the game over and keep doing that until the Lakers win. They might even force the Celtics to play with only 4 guys against 5 Lakers. Maybe even force the Celtics to play at least 3 members of the dance team at all times. We all know this is true.

If the Celtics outshoot the Lakers in FT 70-10, we all know that it should have been 100-2 because obviously, the NBA exists with the sole purpose of making the Celtics and their fans suffer.

I hope that whiny he-she Vujacic doesn't have the same pull as Mark Cuban:
Lakers' guard Sasha Vujacic believes that the Celtics have been playing too rough through the first five games of the NBA Finals, according to The Los Angeles Daily News.

"Phil (Jackson) told me after the game that he thought I was a bit emotional. And I think he was right; I didn't manage it right," Vujacic said. "It all started from that poke in the eye (by Celtics' guard Sam Cassell). I got a little bit mad because the ref was right there, and he didn't call it."

Sasha believes that Boston gets away with quite a bit.

"They (Boston) foul a lot. They get away with a lot of fouls," Vujacic said. "When we go back to Boston, we know that they are going do a lot of moving picks like they do, and they're probably going to get away with it. But we got to stay smart, stay focused, and play with poise."

 @Sasha

His acting job with Cassell was hilarious, as was Van Gundy's comment..."if you're gonna get thrown down by a 38-yr old and fake it, you got problems!"

Henry Abbot has an interesting take on this: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/truehoop/0-32-327/Game-6-Referees.html

My first reaction on seeing this news (before it fully sank in): :eek1:
My second reaction on seeing this news: :censored: "We are ****ed"
I began to ask for help that the Celtics could win with this crew:
My third reaction was more measured: :dontknow: "What can you do?"
Next, I tried to calm down:  :guitar:
Later, I moved through the acceptance phase to a thought much like tombattor's:

Those are just facts! You don't understand that in spite of that, the Celtics will be screwed. And the Lakers will win, no matter what. Finally, I got super-pumped: :rocking: "Let's do this!"

Ubuntu! .................................... :droop: (This is Sam, doing his own thing)

Yeah, I'm sure all the losers will bitch and moan about how the national media hates the Celtics, but I think the in-game guys, Breen, Jackson and Van Gundy have been awesome! And that thing about Sasha Vujacic was classic!

I hate Breen. I think he's awful, and he has consistently rooted for the other teams every Celtics game he's worked these playoffs, whether Cleveland, Detroit, or LA.

Van Gundy is great, though, and Mark Jackson is good, too.

But Breen is **** awful, in my opinion.

Yeah, Breen isn't a fan of the Celtics, but he, along with the other 2, has given us our due when we played well. Breen is a play-by-play guy, so he just calls the game, but the insights by Jackson and Van Gundy have been excellent.

I must say, I am tired of all the talk surrounding the refs. Who really cares? If the Cs do what they do best, they win. It is simple.

The Celtics can not allow the ref's determine how they play this game. If they just go out and play their game and block out all the other stuff , they will win this game, IMO..
