Yes, it's very rare that real fans get to express themselves on something like Stern running the NBA, and it was a heartfelt and stirring expression indeed.
In an evening bursting full of high points, it was certainly one of them.

I think the booing represented the sentiments of all the fans of the league (except maybe the Knicks' and Lakers').

OMG, that was classic! After trouncing the Lakers the Gahden faithful still had the presence of mind to comment by committee on Stern's despotism. Maybe next year Stern will force the finals to start at 11pm Eastern so the kiddies on both coasts won't have to endure such abusive behavior.

YES! Booing Stern was AWESOME! I think even my dad--one of the classiest guys you'll ever meet--would have booed David Stern had we been there. **** him!

I sincerely hope that there's a massive push for Stern to retire this summer. In light of the ref scandal and just complete lack off confidence in the commissioners office, he needs to step down. It's time for some new blood.
