When will it be, and will both be present? After the Ray deal, Baby and Pruitt were introduced to the media the next Monday, which would be June 30 this year. Does anybody have any information? And what numbers will both wear?

Giddens did a conference call interview with the media which can be heard if you go to the Celtics website.

But I mean the introduction where they hold their jerseys up.

Wait are they actually going to give these guys a televised press confrence? I don't think outside of basketball nuts anyone cares. CSN certainly doesn't.

It doesn't necessarily have to be live. Davis and Pruitt were also introduced last year, and they were both second-rounders.

Erden (the #60 pick) is under contract for one more year in Turkey. Danny Ainge said he hopes to bring him over in a year.

Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress.com has said that the Celtics are trying to talk Bill Walker into playing in Europe next season, with the hope of giving him a roster spot NEXT SUMMER.

In one of the audios, Doc Rivers describes Tony Allen as a PURE TWO, whereas Doc says Giddens is more of a 2/3.

Interesting that Semih Erden will be there as well. Makes me think that there's a very good chance that he's coming over next year after his contract is up.

I read somewhere that Ainge said Erden is our first round pick for next year, since our actual pick is going to Minnesota.

The Celtics will introduce their three draft picks, guard J.R. Giddens, swingman Bill Walker, and center Semih Erden, today. The arrival of Giddens and Walker gives the Celtics options if they don't re-sign Allen.

I wonder why they introduce Erden. He must be definitely coming over next year. Is he also going to get a jersey number?

Im way more excited about this than I thought I woul. I am intruiged that Erden came over, it must mean they are definitely confident he will be a part of the organization.

I feel like a jackass now, since Erden did come...

Giddens sounded like a very comfortable speaker. You can tell he has the maturity of a full college guy. Surprised that he and Walker looked the same height - but we have this conversation every year.
