Perkins, Walker Have Successful Surgeries

VIA WIRETAP:

The Boston Celtics announced Wednesday that center Kendrick Perkins and second round draft pick Bill Walker both had successful surgical procedures today at New England Baptist Hospital.

Perkins underwent arthroscopic left shoulder surgery while Walker underwent arthroscopic right knee surgery.

Both surgeries were preformed by Team Physician Dr. Brian McKeon and was assisted by Dr. Alan Curtis and Dr. John Richmond. No timetable has been set for their return.

Hopefully this means less turnovers for Perk in the post next season. I'm really hoping Bill Walker isn't Tony Allen 2.0 injury wise.

Thats a real concern for him, he has simply not stayed healthy, or else he would have been a lotto pick

You could've said exactly the same for Powe, but you see how that turned out.

His injuries are the only reason we were able to get him. Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. I think that the care he will get in the nba will be a lot better than what he has had in the past.

Didn't Perk play worse after his surgy off-season then the clean off-season year?

OT-Perk barely had the ball in his hands to turn it over lol idk where that comment came from.

Yeah for Walker, a slasher with injury prone legs... doesn't sound like a good combination.

That's good news.

Hopefully injuries won't be a big issue for these guys for a while.

I don't mean to sound like an ass here but I know a few people that have died in surgery.
