LOL, I guess I'm a bit slow here. Figures since I didn't have any internet access on the Cape over the 4th of July weekend. My bad. Mods feel free to delete.

Aw, all the jersey recyclers hoped Walker would get #8.

Why is Erden getting a jersey when he's not even going to be in the country this coming season?

Yes, but it looks like he may have already been '86'd'!

I work with a college student from Turkey. He thinks Erden is better than Pollard. He added that Turkey is not a good place for motivation. It sounds good to me.

It sure is. During the playoffs, my dad, brother, and I couldn't **** STAND those commercials...but like bad monster movies, they ended up being so bad that they were awesome. My bro and I would throw phrases back and forth (I'd call him on the phone and say "What's up ALL-STAR", etc) and it's a running joke now, so I thought I'd embrace it and have some fun with it! 8-)

I feel like that dude is familiar but I have no idea where he is from. Old school MadTV maybe? That just popped into my head.

And I have also been told that Turkish culture is rather laid back and not necessarily conducive to ass busting blue collar work, so it may not be a knock on Erden so much as his environment. No first hand experience, just what I have heard.
