USA Select Team

Post#1 » by RickyDizzle » Wed Jul 16, 2008 6:20 pm

Didnt we have a thread before about Rondo and Perk being asked to be on this team that practices against the olympic team?

Maybe I made that up, but I thought I remember reading quotes from them about it being an honor and the article on the wire tap doesnt list any celtics on the team.

What gives?

Both declined, Rondo needs rest and Perk needed surgery

well, i think that the Cs are my preference.

what i mean by that is that since were not taling about them declining a chance to play for the US, im happy with their decisions. passing on a practice squad in favor of your FT gig isnt a bad thing
