I have been told just now by a friend that he heard on sports radio this afternoon that the C's explored/have explored/are exploring the possibility of doing a sign and trade with the following pricipal players involved: Perk and Ray Allen for Emeka Okafor and Adam Morrison or Jared Dudley, plus other flotsam and jetsom.

I have not read it anywhere, have no idea if the salaries even work and would question why the C's would want to lock up a player like Okafor to big money when they get most of that production for Perk. Not to mention that Ray is a big loss.

Does anyone have access to ESPN insider? Pease someone chime in if you heard the same thing. I hate to throw this out there with no links, but some of you follow this stuff more than I.
