he definitely cnanot play the 3. I'm ok with him, but the problem is he'd have to join the team in like March. He only plays like 30 games a year (including the playoffs).

I wouldn't play him over Powe though.

Definitely mixed feelings. I mean, he didn't get the appellation 'Big Shot Bob' for nothing. And he, like Posey, is a certified ring hunter who tends to step it up for winners. But how much could possibly be left in the tank at this point. I agree with him taking the season off up top the allstar break-- ala PJ Brown-- then see if he fits in to what we're needing.

I'd much rather sign Finley in this case, as he can play the 3, and maybe he would except a role as like the 10th man on this team. He would be mainly used to stretch defenses when needed.

he is washed up and overrated. the spurs are smart to not resign him.

I'll pass. I'm sure somebody better can be had during the season when buyouts are done. His big shot days are gone I believe.

Bob's still good for a few timely cheap shots and can possibly be an asset to a team that needs a veteran presence. That team, however, is not the Celtics.

Horry is not a player that I always respected but I can't deny that he consistently played clutch on the biggest of stages before his body betrayed him...

I still remember when Horry took a downward swing at David Robinson's balls but missed. Before the Admiral could react, Bob swung again... and found his mark.

I guess it's an odd thing to remember a player by but it was one of the most unusual non-basketball sequences I've witnessed during a basketball game.

The Admiral didn't provide much in the way of retaliation, being the Christian gentleman that he was.

He can't defend anything, he doesn't hit any shots anymore, and he's extremely slow .. so I think that's a big no. (I watched many Spurs games this year FWIW)

i like his game, but we dont need another big. we have 5 rotational bigs already.

we need a 3 man that can shoot to back up pierce.
