Shawn Kemp may soon be playing basketball again. In the NBA? No. In Europe? Yes. In Rome, Athens, Moskow, Madrid? No, none of these cities. He may come back with Premiata Montegranaro, an Italian team playing in the first division. Basketnet.it
There are rumors Montegranaro may sign Vin Baker in case Shawn Kemp doesn't join the team. Basketnet.it

Man, washed-up ballers never die: they go to Europe. Maybe Kemp will play for Olympiakos and "mentor" young Josh Childress on the finer points of impregnating foreign chicks?

Not that anyone on here would care. But, this is one of the females that Kemp has reportedly fathered a child with.

Back in 2001, Giavasis admitted that Kemp was the father to her second child....she was interviewed by WEWS and stated, “"I could have cared less about his (Kemp) money, I loved him and he said he loved me," she said. "Getting pregnant, I wouldn't say I regret it because I love my son and he deserves a good life." At that time, in 2001, she was getting $2,500 a month from Kemp for child support, but wanted more....

This is just some publicity stunt. I have never heard about the team before, noone outside of Italy has probably, so the owner is doing a nice job, I guess...

At the games they are going to pass out free booze. That is the only way these two would play again, is if they could drink will actually on the court.LOL

Well, the only way to look good is to stand next to another person who might be worst off than you.
I guess Cleveland lost interest. I thought he was signed on with their summer league squad.
Robert "Tractor" Traylor, a former Michigan and NBA player who is serving time in a halfway house for preparing a false tax return, will ask a federal judge today to amend his probation conditions so he can try out for the Lakers. In September, U.S. District Judge Avern Cohn sentenced Traylor, 31, to three years of probation -- to include three months in a federal halfway house -- after Traylor recorded as his own two homes that were owned by his cousin, convicted drug kingpin Quasand Lewis. It's doubtful that they've very much between them. Hopefully, they both had sense enough to save some of the money they'd made over their NBA careers.
Baker's a recovering alcoholic and it's likely that Kemp is still making payments on several child support claims.
A bank is foreclosing on the Old Saybrook restaurant owned by former Celtics [team stats] forward Vin Baker.
TD Banknorth N.A. holds a nearly $1 million mortgage on Vinnie’s Saybrook Fish House and claims the restaurant’s owner has defaulted on it.

They are going to take turns dunking in the game. One will get on his hand and knees to make a platform to jump off. This will alternate this throughout the game.

LOL. Kemp and Baker made a combined 160 million dollars in NBA salary and they have to go to Europe to make ends meet.

That really is sad. Why can't people handle money. What is so hard about it? I have this dislike for spending money. I wouldn't say hate but pretty close.

Now that's awesome. If I had 111 million dollars I'd do the same. At least he's increasing the value of his property.

Not really, let's not forget about MC Hammer. Talk about spending in excess on your home. Unlike Hammer, at least Vanilla Ice had sense enough to save a lot of his earnings over the years.

If that what he wants to do with it by all means go right ahead. I wouldn't sepnd my money that way. At the end of the day if he does piss through all of it, all he will get is a story in the local paper and maybe SI. That is what he will have to show for it.
