Lakers on Christmas!!

Post#1 » by greenbeans » Mon Aug 4, 2008 7:20 pm

AND a Thanksgiving day game!!
That the world-champion Boston Celtics will meet their NBA Finals rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers, at the Staples Center on Christmas Day. Ho, ho, ho. And on Thanksgiving night, the Green Team will make mincemeat (fingers crossed) out of an opponent at the TD Banknorth Garden. Time the turkey appropriately . .

Very cool news! Now if we can get the elusive Kwanzaa game, I'll be content.

How DARE you be so classless, good sir! Don't you know that folks like you and Ray Allen are a disgrace to the game of basketball!? Now, if you'll excuse me...

I know it happened weeks ago, but that quote was absolutely classic. The only way it would've been funnier is if PJ Brown had said it, since they both have such squeaky-clean reputations.

I have that gem on DVD. Beautiful.

i didn't expect that out of Ray. I assume he doesn't live in la in the offseason? Ray after he is done playing should be the mayor of BOS. He could easily replace mumbles.

I'm confused as to whether this is an insider talking or just a person making a guess? I think it was the Lakers and Suns last season. I'm just glad that it's not Miami vs. LA anymore now that that "rivalry" is over with.
