I mean more like you favorite era from another team.
Doesnt have to even be a team you like now, just one you did at one point or another. For me it was the early 90's hornets and late 90's Pacers. i assume this has more to do with me being young at those points and not really THAT into the C's. but man, was I into that LJ/ZO/Bogues team.
figured it being the offseason and QUITE slow wouldnt hurt to ask. so whats yours?

Growing up I was a fan of the early early to mid 90's Magic teams. I really liked Shaq as a kid, although I still do find him entertaining now.

Never. I bleed green and anything else would be blasphemy. I do however like other sports, Red Sox, Dolphins (I got shunned by some players at an autograph session in my hometown when I was 12 and said I would never route for them, which was the same year Marino came into the league, so it worked out...although they suck right now). I'm trying to get back into hockey(Bruins), but the last strike and lack of product on the ice and the owner has made it very hard.

Barkley-era suns were fun to watch. I loved to watch the Jordan Bulls... and root against them.

Duke (I lived in Carolina for awhile).
When I was a kid I liked the Lakers (grew up in So Cal), then didn't really follow basketball for a few years, then became hooked on the Celtics in 79 when Larry came to town (I was stationed in Mass at the time).

I liked KJs Suns. Rooted for that Portland team in 2000 to take down the fakers. 90s Cavs too. Alway liked Mark Price and hated Stockton - not sure why.

I love watchin' Kansas play, especially when The Truth played for them. I remember how excited I was when we drafted him at ten.

As a kid I only liked the celtics because my Brother loved them, But I loved the Orlando Magic prob because of Shaq, it hurt seeing them lose in the Finals and to be honest I thought that was my best shot at seeing a champinship til the KG trade. It wasnt til 98 when I finally just said the Celts are my team and Im happy I did.
On a side note I love the Wallace/Hamilton/Prince/Billups Pistons teams, especially the one that BEAT LA! denying them there 15th ring

Hey I'm a Dolphins fan too. How do you feel about us picking up Pennington?

My favorite non-NBA team is the Bruins.
I can't divide my loyalties at all between teams in a league, more than anything I categorize teams I hate more than others. Lakers, Pistons, Nets I wish all the least of success to. I love laughing at the Knicks, and hope the insanity continues forever.
However, there are non-Celtics players I like. I'm a big Steve Nash fan, and enjoy watching him play. Big Al is another one I have a soft spot for. I'll always wish for them to do well, as their team loses to the Celtics. When they're not playing the Celtics, I hope the player does well and the result either favours the Celtics or harms one of the teams on my most-hated list.
