I see that Leon Powe and Glen Davis are listed in Group II. Not to mention, Eddie House can opt out after next season so he would be in Group I. While I expect Boston to pick up Rajon Rondo's option but they might not for Gabe Pruitt after next season. It depends... And Darius Miles' future is a question mark at this time.
In my opinion, it's unrealistic to target anyone among the top names from Group I. So, I'll move on... Moon's a name who's intriguing from Group II. But, it depends on Toronto's interest and for Boston Bill Walker's development into a viable option at small forward next season. Boston needs depth at small forward; too many shooting guards that will be asked to do double duty. As for names to target from Group III, I'm thinking defenders and shooters here. Also, I like Kidd for his veteran leadership and playoff experience. If Sam Cassell can still stick in the league. Then I'm certain that Kidd still has something left in the tank in a reserve role.
Group I
From this group I don't see anyone Ainge could land or would be worth paying the asking price. Maybe, Zydrunas Ilgauskas... Might have a better chance at Etan Thomas.
Group II
From this group I don't see anyone Ainge could land. But, I would've an interest in Jamario Moon, if were available, and Grant Hill.
Group III
From this group I can see a few possible candidates. That is, I would've an interest in Trevor Ariza, Anthony Parker and Jason Kidd.

Don't hate me, but I could see next summer as when they start to shop Ray.
If theres a good enough player out there in Ben Gordons current situation then Danny might look at a s&t. The team we trade with would in essence just be buying themselves a year to stay under the cap and make a run at "the" fa class. Either that, or we'd trade him for one of the few stars whos deal runs longer than 10-11, Melo anyone?

The last Gordon rumor I read had him possibly going to Miami with he and Marion being the main players in the deal.
This deal seems unlikely seeing as Ainge is looking longterm as far as the team's salary cap. But, would anyone do a trade straight up with Ray Allen for Andrei Kirilenko after next season? Kirilenko's last year would be the 2010-2011 season. His contract is for one more season than Ray's but his annul salary over those three years is less than what Ray will make in the next two seasons. And Kirilenko's younger and would be ideal behind Pierce.
I'm not saying I would definitely do this trade but I'm suggesting it if the question asks: If you were to trade Ray after next season, for which player would you target?
