I was going to open this thread with excitiment of seeing how Patrick handles Yao.. but then I saw Ron Artest.

Wow I forgot completely how much talent HOU has. Ron **** Artest, the one guy in the NBA who has proven to be able to consistently slow down Pierce in the playoffs one on one. It's going to be an intresting matchup when these two teams play one another. Honestly idk what the national games are but I think HOU v BOS is worthy of a TNT game everytime they match up.

Last year Realgm predicted these two teams would be in the NBA finals.. probuly would of been cool to see.

I really don't think it is that great of a matchup haha

Sigh... so did I. The only player in history that single-handily blew up one of the possibly best team ever... The real question is whether Houston is getting the sane Artest or the crazy Artest...

Easily ?? Doubtful. We shall see November 4th. I'll be attending that game for sure. I think we definatley present the toughest matchup for the Celtics and I am anticipating a 1986 NBA Finals re-match this year.

I know this is only pre-season but its still going to be fun to watch, even though we will be without T-Mac & Battier.

They are a good team, the will give us alot more problems then both, Pierce V mcgrady is a wash, Yao is way better then perk, KG is better then there 3's Arterst is better at this point most likley then allen, Rondo is better then rafer, they match up well against us. If we played 10 times id say we would win 6 out of 10

Hoping to see more Bill Walker Highlights and hoping Tony picks up where he left off last night.

By the way, so far I will admit I have been wrong on Patrick O'Bryant. From what I read he has played great. Big Cliff really is an amazing coach.

The only difference is that we would likely close the games with a different lineup then we would starting the game. I mean, thats what I would do if I were coach.

Start Rafer at PG and Close the game with McGrady at PG

To close games Id expect this:

PG: McGrady
SG: Battier
C: Yao
SF: Artest
PF: Scola

That lineup should give any team havoc... including Boston. There is an excellent lineup both offensively and defensively.

With a healthy Rockets team come playoff team. I think we could take the Celtics in a 7 game series.

It would be a great series to watch, you guys have scola and Battier backing up your big 3, however durability is more of an issue with your big 3 then ours even given their age, TMAC and Yao both miss alot of time, and dear lord knows Ron is a possible meltdown away from a career NBA ban, the 2 key matchups would be Yao V. Perk vs Rondo v. Felton, whoever wins that match up by more if both teams are healthy should win the game. You guys should be a great defensive team this year, potentailly with artest added to the mix you could be best in the NBA however Yao's lack of mobility can be a problem vs. good ball rotation, however artest may be able to disrupt good ball rotation on teams like us, if Allen is on I like us, if not I like you guys.

Rockets are pretty testy, seems like they're still mad we broke up that 22 game streak they had. If I'm Doc I play only our third-string players the entire game, I'd hate to see another Celtic get injured in a meaningless preseason game.
