Isiah Thomas is a Piece of Crap

Post#1 » by canman1971 » Sat Oct 25, 2008 9:13 pm

Another indication that Isiah Thomas is the lowest form of human being on the planet.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3663455

Isiah said
It "wasn't an overdose," he told the newspaper. "My daughter is very down right now. None of us are OK."

Police think otherwise
"It wasn't his daughter," Harrison Police Chief David Hall told The Associated Press. "And why they're throwing her under the bus is beyond my ability to understand."

"My cops ... know the difference between a 47-year-old black male and a young black female," Hall said.

Lay off the guy, if he was attempting suicide his head is not in the right place.

Isiah Thomas is a Piece of Crap

Nothing's changed then.

Maybe he'll get help now.

Huh??? Regardless of what his "intent" was, for him to put this on his daughter is just despicable. Maybe he is sick and his head is not thinking clearly, but his past has shown that he is not a good person. Men that I know would lay their lives down for their children/wife. This guy is a poor excuse for a human being. I do hope he gets help, but that does not excuse what he has done here.

Yeah, that was a scum bag thing to do.

Hopefully his head gets better. Just because he was a horrible manager, doesn't mean he should try and off himself.

You'd figure if anyone, it would have been Dolan with a fistfull of xanex after paying out 67,275,000 to "Starbury"

why kick him when he's at the bottom? I dislike the guy as much as anyone and have been on to him for a long time but in all likelihood he just tried to kill himself. even a guy like Isiah deserves some compassion

Lay off the guy. Isaiah, for all his faults, is not a terrible person at all. I remember an article a few years ago about how a lot of NBA players go bankrupt after they retire. Isaiah was mentioned as a guy who would write out cheques to help out former teammates, and in one case, was even paying for a former player's child's college tuition, even though he had never played with him before. He also did quite a bit of charity work during his days as a player.

It's a family matter, so just let him be.

How is throwing your daughter under the bus using the public media a family matter?

I don't have to be your family to spread lies about you and assassinate your character.

I feel bad for the guy. He is obviously in a real bad place. I couldn't disagree with what he did to the Knicks more. It did help the celts though!!!

It amazes me how someone with so much can be that depressed. I don't get it. Money, family, looks.

I just don't get it. Life is good. There has to be some joy, somewhere for him.

I don't think he's a piece of crap, by any means. If anything I feel sorry for him. There is so much good and fun in this world.

Money,Family and looks won't make you feel better about yourself if you are depressed. He is the only out of his family that isn't a total screw up if I remember the NBC Isiah Thomas movie correctly.

Dude, are you serious? Everything I've heard about him is that he's a **** **** in real life. Bird, Jordan, and the others PERSONALLY kept him off the Dream Team...Jordan, for being intentionally frozen out of the All-Star game his rookie season cos Isiah was jealous, Bird for the "only famous cos he's white" comment (among other things)...he ruined the CBA, ruined the Raptors, ruined the Pacers...seriously, NO ONE likes the guy. Not to even mention the despicable disgraceful **** from the Anucha Brown trial last year....

And to throw the blame on your KID???? For some stupid **** you yourself did? Lower than low....
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

I want to be on the let him be side of things and I can even sort of accept the spinning it on your daughter in some sort of public denial to the media, but the dude then sends his 20 year old son out there to lie to the world about his sister and father.

He needs a strong cup of "WTF are you doing.?"

When I see these Richard Cory type self inflicted disasters I just shake my head. WTF is not enough for these guys.

Yesterday, I just interviewed my 97 year old cousin who was there when disaster hit my family. My grandfather and uncle died in the flu of 1918 and left my illiterate grandmother with eight kids and no men. Mary was hated by the larger society, because she wasn't the right ethnic group. She was dirt poor. My 16 year old aunt went to work in a plywood factory, pre-OSHA, pre-union, pre-women voting to support the family.

The take away from the interview was Mary was one of the sweetest woman my cousin ever knew. She gave everything for her children's American dream.

Does Isiah have any sense of what his ancestors have put up with so that he can have this guilded life? I simply do not get this. If anything I'm embarressed for the man.

I thank God on days like this for Leon Powe. He makes being a Celtic's fan inspiring.
