Not many options tonight. Powe was good but I have to go with Pierce...

Pierce was what kept Boston in the game and Powe was the emotion but Rondo won the game.

Pierce was huge, but the Celtics wouldn't have won without the
huge contributions from Tony Allen and Leon Powe.

Rondo looked great, despite his slow start.

Ray played 40 1/2 minutes, I thought they were going to cut him down.
Ray had a great pre-season, too bad he started the season off like this, although since
Doc played him nearly 41 minutes, obviously Doc felt he was most essential.

KG had 6 rebounds in 36 minutes, continuing a disturbing trend from pre-season,
his rebound rate his declining from his career averages.

I wonder how long Doc will wait before giving Patrick O'Bryant Glen Davis' spot in the rotation?
Under achiever O'Bryant can have a much more IMPACT presence than overachiever Davis, who is basically as good as he can ever be right now.

Pierce.

Close but no cigar to Powe, for the great dunk followed by a charge at the other end, and overall efficiency.

PIERCE! He most definitely deserves it he carried the team on his back when the other 2 of the big 3 was off.

If it wasnt for pierces awesome performance i would go with Powe.

I vote for the bench. Since that wasnt an option, Paul Pierce.

I wonder if we use a short bench all year.

I'm sorry but there is no way anybody should be picking anybody but Paul Pierce. He clearly had the best game for any Celtics player. He was really the only reason the team was in the game early and he played solid throughout the game.

Powe was great but the Captain gets the nod. He was amazing last night, he OWNED LBJ on both ends of the floor.

I agree, although he loses points for the horrid "speech" he rambled on and on before the game...

I vote Pierce, but its hard not to be a little concerned how disoriented we always are when rondo is out of the game. We really need some more ballhandling. Its to the point I can almost predict when we arre going to turn the ball over ( Ray on the wings when he dribbles or has the ball on the fast break, house against the press, perk on screens, etc). Also KG was not banging at all yesterday.

I'm going with the Re-Powe Man. He made some absolutely critical buckets, played well on the defensive end and really stepped up after Perk fouled out. Paul played great as well but I'm giving this one to Leon.

Pierce, it shouldn't be close for a impartial observer.

i voted rondo, because despite pierce's great game, i felt that rondo's 4th quarter won the game more than anything else.

i always have a hard time picking anyone but pierce, but rondo's impact on every possession cannot be overstated, last night or any night
