I'm shocked at how well the Bucks have done thus far...C's will win but it will be a tougher game than the last one.

last night was the cakewalk you predicted. the Cs certainly didn't "win in laughter" and doc was forced to play the big three more than i imagined he wanted to. no game is easy in the NBA. see celtics at pacers 10/1/08

Last game was on the road against a young team, but this one is at home. Celtics by 16.

They'd actually match up with us pretty well if they had Redd in uniform.

Celtics by 7. I predict a closer game than we'd expect, as I anticipate the Bucks being fired up to take down the champs. Too bad they will fail.

The Bucks are a much improved team. Richard Jefferson is a border line all-star player. Charlie V seems to be playing much better as well. Plus they have Ridnour really playing a solid point guard. No Redd helps, but I still think this will be a tough game for the C's.

Bucks have a very good starting 5. I expect them to fight for the playoffs. I am looking forward to seeing Sessions and Mbah a Moute play.
I hope Gabe gets a few minutes. PP and Ray are playing too much, Pruitt for 10 minutes per game would be nice...

nice respect shown for a team you could easily cut down and laugh at. watch prince moute and sessions for the bucks they are coming on nicely.
you guys are the champs and should win, but the bucks hiring of skiles have finally given them direction and leadership. the bucks will impress you i hope, after this game good luck. btw thanks for winning it all last year. i hate the lakers.

Sessions should be starting this game and I'd keep him in the starting lineup based off his past week's performance - he is more productive than Ridnour, isn't turning the ball over, and is making an impact with his play...Charlie V is in a contract year, so he's stepping it up - but I wouldn't pay that fool a dime -doesn't love the game and will always be a half-ass player once he gets paid...They need Redd to win this game and they won't be cohesive enough to take us down until mid-season, even then it would be tough - should be fun to watch Sessions work Rondo though - the kid can't handle quick guards at all - I doubt he studies the scouting reports, instead trusting his own natural speed and instincts...if he wants to stop getting lit up by quick guards, he better start learning their tendencies...and learn to hit a damn FT...

Does Rondo have a hard time with quick guards or is it just TJ Ford?
I recall him playing great vs. Chris Paul last year.

I looove the Bucks this year and think they are a darkhorse for the #7 or 8 playoff spot. Richard Jefferson makes that team soo much better but its going to be about staying healthy which is tough for the bucks. We will be there tonight and the Celtics will be 2-0 with me in attendance this season!

Rondo doesn't play quick guards straight up enough. He just stands to one side so at least he knowes where they will be going past him. That puts a lot of pressure on Perk/KG to stop the shot and not foul.

As for MIL, I guess I don't share the optomisim that my other BOS fans have. I think MIL is going to be bad this year. Not unbearable because no one really misses defense when they haven't seen it for a few years, but in the end they'll lose more then they win. High powered offense though!
And for this game. with no Redd there's no real reason to not pack it inside. Bogut looks like the kind of build that Perk can do well with. And with no Redd he should have plenty of help from a rotation KG. I look to only RJ scoring well this game for MIL and maybe Sessions.
Perk played great in HOU putting Ming on ice. And he showed great defense the other night too! But the thunder are just so bad when it comes to big men I can't really count that.
Lets see if Perk can show some range and dominated rebounding against MIL. If he can beat out Bogut he shouldn't have much trouble.

Sessions might be starting the game, but if he does it will be at SG. The Bucks had a backcourt w/ him and Ridnour for all of the 4th and OT on Wednesday against the Wizards, and they looked very good together.

Go C's
I'm interested to see the Bucks new players and see what they can do. I really enjoy the Bucks board and reading their topics. Very passionate and knowledgable bunch.

Thank you for the respect Celtics fans. We are proud of our board and our fans. Our team is looking somewhat promising this year. We don't expect much, but our young nucleus is refreshing to watch. I expect to be blown out tonight without Redd, but I hope we give you guys a good game.

Definitely looking forward to getting a chance to see Mbah a Moute play. He was one of the guys I wanted the C's to possibly take with the 30th pick before the draft and he's put up some impressive box scores for a rookie second round pick this early in the season. It's a wonder that they keep getting guys like Redd, Sessions, and Mbah a Moute in the second round.
Otherwise, as for the Bucks, if Redd comes back healthy, like a lot of other Boston fans, I see them possibly sneaking into the playoffs like Philadelphia did last year as high as possibly a sixth seed. This should be closer than we'd expect, but I still see the Celtics winning by about 10 at home.
