OT: Realgm vs. Celticsblog

Post#1 » by Scalamental » Thu Nov 6, 2008 7:05 pm

Ever since C's blog changed it's format I haven't made my way to their forum. I'm wondering how many people on realgm are on c's blog too, and which one they prefer, since the change (just as far as forums are concerned)?

I pop in over there from time to time. I never liked the format as much as here so I tend to hang out here more and traffic is better. Now the format here is kind of jacked as well so it is more the same. The new content seems cool and it taps into a national link so it looks like you can hook up with fans from other teams as you can here. Can't say I have made much use of it yet.

Jeff and the guys who run the site are really cool, I don't like that forum as much as this one but that is just comfort and personality I suppose. There is someone posting here at almost all hours as well. But there are plenty of guys who cross over between both and it is nice to have both. I would say that things can get a little deeper over there as far as in depth analyzing of players and situations and that can cut both ways.

Jeff and the guys at CB are great, and I love the blog, but this forum clearly rules over all.

Can we have a "beat it" style showdown??

And RealGM all day for me, those guys over there are some strict sonofaguns. The thing that makes this board 100x better for me is that its so interwoven between different fanbases.

I used to post on C's blog all the time but started getting sick of the moderating. There are a TON of quality posters over there and I check the quite on occasion.

I'm down, but only if Eddie Van Halen plays a shredding guitar solo during the Celtics Blog-RealGM knife fight.

Only if Kenny Loggins and Michael MacDonald write a special theme song.

I pop on from time to time. I used to love how they would post the links; with the new format, however, I visit much less. Doesn't seem as user friendly and I don't want to put in the time to make it that way.

I'm with Sully on this one. I just always liked the RealGM format better even afer the change. No slight to Celticsblog of course because they do have some great posters. I like how we get the fan interaction from other teams over here.

It's been a while CE. Thought you were disbarred.

Very close to being 'cause I supported the Cs during the Finals here in LA. My colleagues wouldn't speak to me!
