Should be a good game, the Nuggets look so much better with and actual point guard running the show.

I have doubts Nuggets could pose real threat to Celtics, unless our guys will sleep longer than usual
Who would win one-on-one in HORSE?

Bird: Nobody beats me in H-O-R-S-E. Besides, Magic cant shoot.

Magic: Larry, you'd have no chance against me one-on-one. I've got too many ways to beat you. Plus, as slow as I am, I'm still faster than you.

The nuggets look completely different with Billups at PG. They actually look like a team! I just hope we finally play a good game!

And Doc needs to give a few minutes to Pruitt and Walker...

I think we win this game, but it will be tough. Billups makes them MUCH better than Iverson did, and Anthony is always a threat to go off...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Is Martin playing tonight? He elbowed Varejeao in the face last night (not that I can blame him); don't know if it was a flagrant 1 or 2.

Billups is a Celtics killer...makes me glad we only play him twice a year now (barring a Finals match-up).

Keys: Come out STRONG in the first quarter (no 16 point holes), play D, and try to exploit George Karl's "defensive" schemes.

I still wish Sam Cassell had joined the AI/Melo Nuggets in the offseason like he said he was going to after the Finals...that would have been a trainwreck of a team and so funny to watch!

Anyone thinking Chauncey Billups is going to change the Nuggets has a pretty short memory. The Nuggs traded Andre Miller for AI who was a much more of a true table setter than Billups and while he wasn't as good a perimeter shooter he was much better penetrating the lane. I think the trade is good for Billups, and may help DEN down the road but trading AI and Camby for Billups is not going to help that team in the West. They were an explosive if inconsistent offensive team that played avg defense last season now they have traded one of the most productive defenders in the game away and took a lot of the pop out of their offense. I don't know that AI and Melo were going anywhere but that roster as it isn't going to win 50 games.

^^I agree, sully...however that's not to say they won't be BETTER than they were with AI...I still don't see them making the playoffs, though...

Dahntay Jones... that's the guy we cut last year during the preseason. He's starting over JR Smith?

Well at least he'll attack the hoop.

I think this one is going to be a comeback game, or if TA goes off then a comfortable win. The way through the Nuggets has to be constantly attacking the basket, and there's no way this team is going to do that in the first half.

Their penetrator is going to be matched up with our below average chink in the defense defender Ray Allen. That could be a promblem if I didn't think the ball was going to start and end in one of Billups or Melo's hands 75% of all possesions.

How can you be better and not win as many games?

Did I just read that someone is worried about the Ray Allen vs. Dahtay Jones match up?

C's have to be careful tonight, the Nugs are a better team without "Me, Myself and Iverson". Anyone ever notice that tattoo that looks like a Celtics logo on Billups arm? I guess he changed it to look like something else, but its obvious it was a Celtics one.

Its kinda like having your girlfriend Mary's name tattooed on your arm then when you breakup you add "a bitch" to it.

Nope, I did that already with another site today. Of course that site had nothing to do with sweaty black men.
