Any interest?

He's on the block. I like him and think he could help us. I know he's had issues but I think guys like KG could really evolve him. What's he worth?

I know greenbeans is down. Anybody else?

I would trade Pruitt and POB for him then sign Marbury.

I'd pursue him, but wouldn't trade Pruitt because House is stinking up the joint and Marbury is bad comedy at this point. Is his passion for the game greater than O'Bryant's? What would be considered fair value?

He is athletic and can block shots but there is not much else. He is all hype little skills. With his low BBIQ he wouldn`t get minutes on this team...

I recall Danny taking a long look at him after he got kicked off his team in college. I think the Celts were targeting him with their second round pick, although Rod Thorn surprised everyone and took him in the 1st round, despite the troubles in school. I think the kid definitely has 1st round talent. Unfortunately, he's much too raw to be able to contribute on a contending team. Last but not least, any guy psycho enough to rip his nameplate off his locker due to lack of playing time probably isn't too good for team chemisty.

I don't think the kid is very coachable and as I remember him at BC it was like the better he played the worse the team faired and I think that trend continued at NJ. I don't like NJ's drafting overall. Looking at their draft history Scal was a good pick. They pick like the Raiders in football and it is great when you'r on to something but when you consistently do something you can expect the same results. I like when Danny Ainge drafts an undersized big man because he finds good ones, I kind of feel when NJ takes an underachiever with a questionable make up I assume he is going suck. Low and behold here is NJ trying to unload another million dolllar body with a ten cent brain after two years that is upset because they picked up the option on his rookie contract. What is the hurry the NBADL isn'g going anywhere?

We basically have a diffrent version of him in Patrick O'Bryant. He's a project.

Actually 2 more points.

1) Vote Marbury for all-star guard. He won't have a team, and Stern put him on the ballot. This will be hilarious [also he'll be taking Calderon or AI's spot. A win-win].

2) Why isn't this thread about signing Juan Howard? The Nuggz cut him to make room for McDysses. If not McNice, Howard could literally be our PJ Brown.

I like Howard and while better than Scal I don't know how much more than Scal he would give us as he is a little weak on the low post defense. I also think he is going back to DEN.

This a merely a scheme by the nets to appease the Chinese government and get YI more playing time.

We've already got a baby on the team already. I'd rather sign someone that knows his role and shuts the hell up like Mcdyess.

Right now Sean is best suited for a run n gun team though so I'm not sure how much interest Danny would have. but since NJ is looking for traditional big men right now and we have POB sitting on the bench, seems to be a good starting point for a deal, maybe they'll sell low.

I don't mean to be argumentative but the way I view Sean Williams seems to be worlds apart from home you view him. I mean, I absolutely love his length, athleticism and his shotblocking but I felt that way about Stro Swift back in his early years, too. Thankfully, I learned my lesson and got off that bandwagon before everyone else. I think Williams can play but I think he needs to develop a jumpshot, has to defender better in space and on the block, needs to be paired with an endomorph at most times and he could stand to rebound better, as well. That isn't even getting into his off-court issues (I don't count the 420 as an issue, fwiw.)

If we can get him by giving away players outside of our rotation and Pruitt, sure, otherwise no, because he'll probably just occupy the same role as POB now, as project, third string center. With KG, it'd be a good place for him to develop, but we shouldn't get too worked up over him.

Perkins deserves the starting spot much more then Sean Williams does. If the kid had a brain he would be a good addition to the team, but if he's complaining about minutes on a bad team what would he do if he were given DNP's on a title team.

He might resort to poisoning all the bigs ahead of him on the depth chart. Danny would be throwing a garbage bag in a dumpster outside the training facility in Waltham and find Baby's limp body among the trash.

yeeeahhh, for a guy who talks out if his a$$ quite a bit you've outdone yourself this time. you can uqestion his motivation all ya want, ya can question his morals, but the one thing he has in spades is raw talent
