As important as Howard is to this game, it will be Hedo and Rashard impact that scares me.

Hedo is Tall and is always giving Paul hard time on both end of the floor (I think on D it has more to do with Howard as well).
Lewis is going to pull KG to the 3pt line and could desrupt the defense and any help KG would give.

I think the Cs will win, and Howard will have another 30pts game
NFL fans are now feeling what NBA fans been living for a while...

If Perkins gets in quick foul trouble (a decent possibility) it will be interesting to see what the rotation is. Howard is a VERY difficult match up for Big Baby. I wonder if the taller Patrick O'Bryant will get a chance to waste a few fouls.

On the other side, Ray Allen against JJ Redick looks to be just as big a mismatch.

Also an aggressive Rondo would help as the Magic are shallow at point with the injuries.

Wow, Magic has no depth on their bench.

eh, I think Big Baby can do a better job on Howard then O'Bryant. Big Baby gives up height, but he has a lot of bulk/strength to be able to stand his ground. O'Bryant has height, but he is pretty weak and Howard will push him around with ease.

Half of their team is out. None of the big guns but still. I expect us to blow them out.

3rd best record in the East shows you that they are not a team to be taken lightly. Is JJ's teammate trying to steal the ball from him in that pic?

Keys to the game: Rondo needs to torch that old man Anthony Johnson.
Find Ray coming off from screens and test their weakened guard rotation.
Perk - keep doing your thing, but watch those illegal screens, we'll need all 6 of his fouls to be quality.

The magic have the best starting front court in the league scoring wise.(All 3 20+ppg) It's important that we emphasize our advantage in the backcourt, lock down the paint, and attack their front line.

Perk is the key to us winning tonight. Dwight Howard is probably the best center in the league right now, but Perk usually plays him pretty well.

The line is Boston -8.5. So you predict the Magic to cover.

Yes. Even before the 4 1/2 injuries, the Magic lacked PG, SF, and PF depth.

The Magic are out Bogans, Nelson, Pietrus, and Wilks. And, Battie is far from 100%, as he was seriously injured in the last game.

As a homer Orlando fan, I hope for a win. But then one must be realistic. Magic fans are only hoping to keep the game respectable. Nobody in the South expects a win :(

We match up with the Magic really well one on one.

And they have no one who can disrupt Rondo or defend Ray.

I don't think perk is the key to winning, as Dwight Howard can't beat us by himself. If Rondo stays in front of Nelson we should be able to get away with playing them one on one defensively, which I feel is ideal as I feel we match up well.

Anthony Johnson is the only Magic PG and the starter. The backup at PG is Turkoglu. :(

I missed that...

Well, hopefully, we get to see a full quarter of Gabe Pruitt tonight.

Wow... How do you say "Magic" in Turkish?

Rondo has to try to get his guy in foul trouble. Drive Rondo. Drive I tell you!

Still don't think that the Magic are contenders yet, but they are close. They are a damn good team that played the Celtics tough last year. As others said, if Perk gets in quick foul trouble, it'll be a long night. But I'm willing to let Howard have his and concentrate on stopping Turkoglu (a Celtic killer if I ever say one) and Lewis (overrated, in my opinion, but that doesn't mean you can discount him).

The Celtics are lucky that the Magic are suffering from some injuries.

Go Cs!

What I like is that they make 3 of the top 4 teams in the NBA represent the East. It's about time!

You can either say "Büyü" or "Sihir" for Magic in Turkish, Gant !

A good gut check game.

The Magic are a quality team and we won't want to be pulling our double figure comeback attempt if we want to win the game.

Out depth at C is one of main concerns and the Magic are one of the best teams to test our depth against.

That said, their back court is an Anthony Johnson off being a smoking ruin so (as everyone is saying) we need Rondo and Ray to unleash the dawgs of war and destroy in the name of Keltic Pride.
