What do you think about getting Tyrus, Hughes or Sefolosha?

The only one I think could be useful to the C's is Sefolosha. Because Powe and Baby can do what Tyrus does and House and Tony fill Hughes role.

Tyrus yes, but how? Reunite the LSU duo. Sefolosha wouldn't get time. Hughes no.

Personally I wouldn't want any of them, there's a reason they're being shopped, they're mediocre ball players. Tyrus is a bust and I wouldn't want to give up anything of worth to acquire him.

We don`t really need any prospects, IMO. We need guys who can help us now. Sefolosha is terrible anyhow, the guy is not an NBA player. Hughes makes 12 mio per year so that only leaves Thomas. Thomas for Scal works!

Lol LSU reunion.

If any of them, then tyrus, or Sefolasha. Definitely no to Hughes.

For the Celtics, yeah!

We'd need to add future first or maybe one of Walker/ Giddens. I'd consider Scal & Giddens for Thomas because he offers something we could use; an athletic front court player. But honestly, I can hardly remember the guy making a shot that wasn't a dunk. I'm watching Chicago play the Nets right now and Thomas is awfully offensively challenged for a third year lottery pick. But I think he's still git a chance to be a consistent player. Great athlete and a good motor, long and disruptive on D.

And on cue I watch Thomas make a great steal but miss two layups. His fg% is atrocious.

But is think CHI is gonna want more for him than C's would offer.

Hughes is severely overpaid and wouldn't help us, Sefolosha isn't all that good as far as I'm aware and even if I'm wrong he lacks strong upside and lacks vet experience. I'll happily take occasional stupidity from Tyrus Thomas - his value is at a low point he's a solid defensive player with outstanding defensive potential (and athletic enough to defend SF) and his offensive game has some potential. But as others here ask, how do we make that happen? Chances are we can't

No, no and no...

And for anyone suggesting that we trade Scal for any of these players... NO!

All 3 are garbage.

I do like Nocioni and Noah though.

^^^ I don't even like those two guys. The only good player on the Bulls is Rose. Gordon is rotation worthy..

Tyrus got picked high and was a good prospect when we were a bad team.

His story is a sad one and his problems can be found to be very similar to O'Bryant minus the minutes because Tyrus has gotten plenty of minutes.

He's not ready to help a team win and probably never will be. He'll probably find himself on the free agent market and signed for half the MLE on some bad team taken a chance on a project. Then again no team took that chance on Gerald Green or Patrick O'Bryant for anything but the minimum.

Tyrus just needs to be put in a place where he's asked to play a very well defined and limited role where he focusses on defense, rebounding, and hustle plays. I'm not sure what his mental makeup is but from what I can see it leaves quite a bit to be desired. It's hard to imagine him not finding a place in the NBA given his athleticism but if he has no sense for the game than he wouldn't be the first not to make the cut. He's the only player of the three I'd even consider... maybe Scal and POB for him... eesh, even that seems like a lot for Tyrus.
