Should we now use "The Fantastic Four" nickname?
I don't know if I'm rushing things, but it seems like Rondo is now just as important as Paul, KG and Ray. We need to get rid of the overused Big Three moniker and use "The Fantastic Four" one.

If Rondo makes the all star team, then yes, otherwise, not until then. I voted yes anyways.

Naw. It should be "the Big 3 and the greatest player in the world, Paul Pierce".

Fantastic Four almost works.
Ray Allen can catch fire and KG does look like plastic man. Rondo is like a force field defensively. Unfortunately, Pierce doesn't match anybody and Perkins is definitely the Thing.
Maybe Paul Pierce and the Fantastic Four.
Actually, from a Lakers fan perspective Pierce could be Dr. Doom.

"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Prepare for the headlines:
9 to 5 is working
and the like.
As for a nickname -- how about The Green Meanies?

How often do nicknames stick?
Look at the nfl, Greg White had to legally change his name to Styles White.

Re: Should we now use "The Fantastic Four" nickname?
Maybe the big three and one, but Rondo can't really take over a game by himself yet while the others can. He's still just about as important, but in different ways.
I agree with the sentiment expressed here, nicknames are lame and you can not force them like here.

Thanks.
The nickname sounds good saying it out loud after the aforementioned score on an alley-oop play.
You know, like... Ah, man... That team just got 9 to 5ed big time!

I still say nicknames are dumb and way too overused in the NBA...
Here's a great thing to call them...the Celtics! Or how about, "Rondo", "KG", "Pierce", "Allen", and "Perk"...catchy and to the point!

Okay, slight change of topic: If you could pick any basketball players to dispense nicknames to other pro ballers, who would come up with the best one? My top 3:
1) Shaq
2) Cedric Maxwell
3) Bill Walton

haha, definitely Shaq. The guy thinks of nicknames in his sleep. He's the only person has nicknamed himself 107 times.

Not trying to be a dickhole, but I came up with that one when we had Gerald Green.
