Could Joe Smith get bought out to make room?
Or would Steven Hill or somebody just get cut?

Didn't some people want us to sign Krstic this offseason?
Weird that he ended up overseas and is now trying to jump on with the Thunder. There's a chance Joe Smith would get bought out, but I'm not sure what his situation is. Is he helping out younger players and enjoying being a mentor, or is he unhappy with playing time and being unable to contribute to a contender.

First off the Thunder will probably try to trade Joe to a playoff contender. The Spurs and Lakers have both shown some interest.
If the Thunder cannot make a deal then Joe could be bought out near the deadline. At that point I'm guessing Cleveland could have the best shot. Joe's agent is Dan Fegan who has some major fence mending to do with the Cavs before he goes back to the negotiating table with them again next summer. Not to mention Joe and KG weren't exactly best friends during Joe's last year in Minnesota. They don't 'hate' each other but they certainly are not on each other's Christmas card list either.
