Wow. Concussion is serious. If anyone has any info please post it. I am sure we will get an update for the game.

It's either Patrick or Scal taking his minutes. They'll probably get away with Scalabrine against the small Knicks.

They called in a "minor accident" but I think said he's in the hospital.

Man, this really isn't baby's year. Hopefully this concussion is like an epiphany and baby comes to his senses about the game.

Big Baby has had a difficult year. I'm sure he's going to be fine, but I hope he's able to return soon, so good luck while he's out.

Could you imagine being the other driver when BIG BABY gets out of the car.

I think he was released from the hospital during the game, hope he's good to go for Tuesday.

This is the second unfortunate situation I've heard from this past year regarding Baby and vehicles. The other thing was a story that he was seen (seeming to be) drunk after the parade. Not long after that he was seen driving. Not good if true.

Good thing this isn't football. I think it's realistic for a hoops player to get a concussion and make a "complete" recovery.

Well he was hit by a car in Rome during the trip to Europe in summer 07...

it will take a lot for him to recover from him. He's a Big Baby, unfortunately.

While I hate him as a player, I certainly hope he is OK and recovers. Hope you're not hurt, Glen, and if so recover quickly!

Big Baby is out for Philly according to USAtoday.

"Boston Celtics forward Glen "Big Baby" Davis will sit out at least one more game because of a car accident on the Massachusetts Turnpike that left him with a concussion and whiplash, the team said Monday.
Davis was injured Sunday as he drove to the TD Banknorth Garden for a game against the New York Knicks. He was taken to a hospital and missed the game. He is considered day-to-day and will not play in Tuesday night's game against Philadelphia."

Ah jeez, as if crying in the huddle weren't enough--who knew Big Baby had a cervical anything to sprain?

Reserve center-forward Glen Davis, who was injured in an auto accident Sunday, will miss the Celtics' game against Philadelphia Tuesday.

Davis sustained a concussion and cervical strain, according to the Celtics. Davis was hospitalized after the accident and released Sunday night. Davis' condition is listed as day to day."
