Odds and ends about Rajon Rondo.

1. My new favorite Celtic to watch. He's getting to the point where you watch his every move on the court because he makes sh#@ happen. Plays hard every play.
2. Does not need a nickname. "Rondo" is his nickname.
3. Is playing at an all-star level RIGHT now. Ony reason his stats, along with the big 3, are down is because THEY DONT PLAY THE 4TH QUARTER of most games.
4. During the 9 for 9 3rd quarter vs Knicks, had a chance to hoist a buzzer beater..... but didnt because he wanted the record.
5. Yells for the ball everytime KG or "The Beast of Burden" rebounds. Sometimes Perkules ignores him and usually throws the ball away down court. Just give the ball to Rondo please.
6. Will someday record 25 or more assists in a game because he purposely looks to pad his assist stats, finds the open man, and looks for the best shot.
7. Will have more triple doubles this year.
8. Has been the MVP of the team so far this year. If he goes down, were in deep....
9. Once he gets that medium range jumper down....its over.....hell it may be already over WITHOUT the jumper.
10. WIll be the key to winning number 18.
11. Rondo maturing into a star supercedes Andrew Bynum and Mo Williams as important offseason pickups.
12. Rondo DOES NOT give a good interview.
13. He saves the charisma for the court.
14. Doc Rivers doesnt play Rondo enough. He seems to wait until the 5 or 6 minute mark of the 2nd and 4th quarters to bring him back in. Hes young, why cant he play 40 minutes when needed.
15. Has not peaked yet. Deron Williams and Chris Paul may have....Rondo will continue to add stuff to his game. May not fully peak for 3 more years....or more if in the future he gets his free throw % up.
16. His contract demands are gonna get higher...not good for our future cap space.
17. Like it or not, its a big 4 now. Sorry Perk, you get the benefit of alot of double teams. When you stop gathering your shot..(which you are getting better) then it will be be a big 5.
18. Will eventually get hurt and miss a few games because he falls down ALOT.
19. Will probably lead league in assist numerous times.
20. Rondo could have been in Minnesota...but Kevin Mchale has no nuts, folded his hand.
21. Does the reach around slap attempt at a steal when the game is in hand. Usually leads to a foul being called but he tries it anyway.
22. Wears his headband with the NBA logo upside down.
23. Does not smile that often.
24. Will be our starting point for the next 10 years.
25. If he has a monster game on Christmas, it may determine his all-star fate.
26. May favorite funny moment of the year was Paul Pierce dancing , looking into the camera during the Bulls game. Anybody else catch that.
27. My favorite player in garbage time is Gabe Pruitt. He is getting there and can flat out shoot. Would love to see Eddie sit for a few games. Patrick O Bryant seems to make 1 shot every garbage time outing, and it looks like he is shooting down into the basket. They go to him alot at the end of games.
28. My least favorite is Big Baby. He fouls 3 point shooters, misses that jumper too much, and is just too short for post moves. If there is trade bait on this team, you better believe Glen Davis is some of it.
29. Kids playing at home and in school are already mimicking Rondos fake behind the back move. Its becoming a nationwide phenomenon.
