So far, the EC is winning against the WC this season

What I like about this is that certain Laker fans can no longer cite that the eastern conference is inferior nor can they continue to discredit the season that the Celtics are having.
Here's an example of one such Laker fans. This is a case of classic ignorance.
This raises the question: Is the western conference still deep? Well, I understand that the Spurs have dealt with early season injuries but what's the Suns excuses, for example? They aren't winning consistently at home. What's happening to the Hornets, thus far? Wasn't the signing of Posey supposed to have an impact?

By the way, I thought that this was an interesting topic as far as NBA standings are concern. Basically, the writer's asking the readers: Do you think the Celtics will reach seventy wins or will the Thunder reach seventy losses? When I'd first read this article, the voting stood at 49% in favor of Boston and 51% in favor of the Thunder.

You guys should finish with the best record since you're padding your record in the Leastern Conference. You only have to worry about one team in the playoffs, where probably our 8th seed will be a 50+ win team again.

Entering Thursday's slate of games, the Eastern Conference was 86-64 against the Western Conference this season.
The last time the East had a winning record against the West in a full season was in 1997-98.
If the East manages to maintain its .573 winning percentage, it would be its second-best showing since 1990.

Anyway, with the Cs and Thunder as co-stars, we've been challenged to answer the following question: if these teams are riding separate trains and allowed to go speeding off in opposite directions, which team will reach 70 first?
