The refs GIFT WRAP the game to the Cavs.....Down 7 points with 1:23 left....Phantom foul on a missed LeBron 3 pointer-----3 free throws...NOW they'll win this game....COMPLETELY given the game by the refs.

The ref blew the whistle AFTER the ball clanged off the rim---Washington should have had the ball with a 7 point lead and 1:23 to go....GAME OVER----but NOPE, refs HAD to let LeBron get 3 free throws.

I was just going to post this. Painfully obvious. Wiz deserved to take this game.

it's always been fixed, I could get into it, and about david stern, but i wont on realgm. when i learned the truth about major league sports, i took my heart out of it. I dont get overly happy or upset about games anymore, actually I only follow sports now for something to do after finding out what I did. I'll leave it at that.

Really Pathetic how obvious this was----just GIVE the game to LeBron on Christmas night....The game was OVER....7 point lead with the ball....nope....Plus, they foul out Jamison when Sideshow Bob went over his back on that rebound ,Varejo gets 2 free throws to ice the game for Clev---AND get Jamison out of the game.....David Stern is Scrooge.

NBA wants Kobe VS. LeBron....so they're gonna make sure Cavs have Home Court advantage if they meet Boston,.....Very disappointing to watch the final 1-1/2 minute of that game.

I know you mentioned you don't want to get much into it and I totally respect that, but is it possible if you could please give some more tidbits of info? I'd be really interested to read what you have to say. Also, I know you mentioned 'major league sports' so does this include NFL and MLB?

I've always had silly thoughts go thru my mind all the time about the NBA and refs, but always just dismissed thinking calls have be to legitimate because by now, I'm sure we would have seen evidence to prove they were not.


But then games like last night truly make you wonder and just other stuff in general like how refs will wait to call a shooting foul after they know whether the shot will go in or not, charge/block, perimeter ticky tack fouls, the whole term of "superstar calls" ???

I know it's been in the league forever, but just guys just think about it, the whole idea of a "superstar call" just goes against the legitimacy of the game, you are basically saying if your name is 'superstar name' you are going to get the benefit of the doubt and get questionable calls (especially in key critical moments of a game), whereas another scrub player might get the same contact or more and not get called anything. Just call the game fair and make the right call, they are too concerned with who is making the play instead of the actual correct call of the basketball play.

Anyway, I went on a stupid rant, but I'd like to hear yours and others thoughts.

You sound like a pissed off fan who basically took the defeat of your team way out of line, and you decided to start a thread about how the NBA is already fixing games so that the finals would feature the Lakers and Cavs???????
Notice there is abosultely no intelligent Celtic fan on here replying to this Im a sore loser thread, but you and all 5 of your posts.
A word of advice, the Cs are the best team, they played a game against a very good team, not on the same level as the Cs but one of the top best 3 teams in the league.
What happened with Cavs game has nothing to do with the Cs or who plays who in the finals.
Come down and stop making your board look bad.
Again it's only one game, and the best team won on their home court.
It happens, lets not go overboard since were not even half way through the season yet.
Its only one game, dont start the NBA conspiracy theory bull crap right now.

Total job by the refs/league/Stern. One thing that pisses me off in ALL games I watch, not just Celtics games, are the late whistles, when they wait to see if a shot goes in or out, etc...if it's a **** foul, it's a **** foul, regardless!
