KG is hurt. He's not moving that well.
RA looks like he needs a day off.
Let's see what this bench is really made of.

Instead of resting them let's play them 40+ minutes so the Celtics have to start Tony Allen and POB in the first round of the playoffs.
KG's leg is hurting so let's play him 41 minutes. I don't get it.

Next 4 games
Wed vs Rockets
Fri @ Cavs
Sun @ Tor
Mon vs Tor
I dont think they should get one game off but should get less playing time and hope the bench will pick things up.
Game against the Cavs will be a good one, we will pick things up and will end this slump.

it wouldn't hurt to have someone taller then 6'7" to be the back-up center and/or power forward....getting hurt badly in rebounds...Perk isn't 100% w/his shoulder.... I think you're seeing now the affect of not having James Posey.

KG is hurt a little. It's effecting his offense. Let's play Scal more. He played well last season when KG missed 9 games.
Ray needs to play a little less as well, I agree. But we don't have a bench to go to. TA is out also and Walker and Giddens won't be called up soon. I wish Doc would give Pruitt some minutes.

It really is puzzling how Doc could finally bring Pruitt in in the second last night, the C's saw their most rapid gains in the six minutes he was in, but then Doc played Ray and Rondo for 48 and 46 minutes respectively--and only brought Pruitt back for the last 12 seconds of the loss.

I think KG's defense is effected more than his offense. Per Perk's own words, they haven't been communicating that well on defense and KG is taking all the blame, which he should. They have been letting anyone and everyone score in the paint at will! Disgusting! I wouldn't give KG a day off, but use him no more than 30 mpg the next few and see if that helps him. Same with Ray. Why Ray is playing 48 minutes is beyond me. If anyone should be playing 48 minutes, it's Paul. He's been the most effective.

I think we should give KG and Ray a few games off. Who cares if we slip in the standings. We'll probably still be a top 4 seed when the seasons over. Besides its all about winning another title, screw season records. I'd like to see Bill Walker or Giddens come up from the D-league and get some minutes as well as the young guys already on the NBA roster.

Other guys ARE gonna have to step up...and maybe if we rest KG or RA for a couple of games the rest of the team will pick up the slack and raise their overall play and bring more energy to the games.
Right now things just aren't clicking especially on the defensive end.
